We went to Chapel Grille for the first time Saturday night. From the time we arrived is was fantasitc. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and we're taken to a great table on the terrace near a window. The service was great from start to finish. Olive oils were wonderful, food was great, I had Burrata Salad; and Pailla,... More

We have eaten at Chapel Grill several times and enjoyed every visit. This time we had a group of 8 , 4 couples. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the appetizers we ordered for the table. The only reason I would not give it five stars, is that I feel, the meals could be be slightly larger. The salads are very... More

This Restaurant was a Chapel for the Rhode Island Training School for boys transformed into a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant and it can get pricey for Dinner. It has a view of the Providence and East Coast Shoreline in the distance. The portions are small however the food quality is good. I like it for drinks and appetizers.... More

There must be a shortage on lettuce as there was less than a cup served with my entree salad along with 5 almonds and three slices of strawberry! The goat cheese was non existent. I requested more and they did bring me additional though. However they skipped our table for bread all together. Not worth the price, there is no... More

Enjoyed an early dinner at the bar to make for a quick meal. Lovely atmosphere overlooking the terrace and the ambiance of the whole restaurant is delightful. Ordered scallops which were perfectly cooked and lightly but well seasoned with a delicious veggie mix side (a departure from the usual) and rice, accompanied by delicious warm bread with a flight of... Ordered the special grilled trout. It was butterflied and char grilled . All one could taste was the burnt flavor from the grill. The manager proceeded to tell me it was supposed to be blackened . He was arrogant and totally wrong, asking me if I knew what blackened was. Fortunately I am a reasonably good cook and am very... More

The food has always been fabulous for every visit! Outstanding menu and have a beautiful outside terrace for great atmosphere. The waitstaff always attentive and have never been disappointed in menu or meal. Very reasonable place for lunch as well.

I went here for lunch today with my sisters, daughter and niece. We were blown away! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and the food...my god, the food!! I had the Cleopatra salad with grilled chicken. It was so light, healthy and refreshing. I sampled my sisters' entrees (pasta with vodka sauce and rigatoni with meatballs...both delicious). I loved their Red sangria... More

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and thought we would give restaurant week a try. Ok so here is the good, bad, and ugly. He ordered a cocktail and I ordered the 15 dollar wine pairing, three glasses of wine served with each course. My wine was a 4 oz taste. The calamari was for two, and... More

3 of us went last night to sit outside on the beautiful patio overlooking the city. The setting is gorgeous without a doubt and this restaurant is beautiful. But the service and the food no longer match the setting. It was restaurant week and our server, Rachel was enthusiastic but peaked at the introduction. Our food came out very slowly,... More
