My fiancé and I ate here for a very nice date night while on vacation. I had the Lobster Mac, she had the salmon. Both come highly recommended. Service was excellent, very friendly staff. Fresh hot bread and butter at our table right as we sat down. Very nice and romantic setting. We got there right after opening, and for... More

I recently visited Le Central with my girlfriend and parents for an early Dinner on a Saturday afternoon. We were asked to sit where we wanted and chose the same seat as our first time. Ironically, we all ordered the same entrees again. Service was quick and server was friendly and attentive. My girlfriend enjoyed her salmon. We loved the... More

Always consistently delicious. Best oysters around (and very inexpensive during happy hour) in an area known for oysters. Happy Hour menu is great. Always daily specials mostly centered around local, seasonal food. You can go for a great light meal, happy hour, or a full blown dinner. Very nice wine selection. My consistent favorites? Ceviche, oysters, and anything that comes... More

A French Bistro in the heart of Bristol. Great for lunch or dinner. Terrific salads (Goat Cheese is my favorite), French Onion soup and lamb. Also great music system that is not too loud but creates a nice atmosphere.

I have been going here for years. Le Central consistently serves the best food in the East Bay. My favorite is the salmon Nicoise. It is always fresh and the salmon is always cooked as ordered. If you go, try the french fries--they are unbelievable. The restaurant also has the best Bloody Mary. The service is wonderful and the experience... More

Le Central is located in the heart of Bristol. That means you can browse shoppes, walk along the harbor, or take on a tour of Linden Place, which is just across the street. OK, so the location is great. The food, also pretty good. My French onion soup had a really different broth, with an unusual after taste, almost meaty.... More

When we visit Bristol, Le Central is a favorite of our host, and ours. We go there for fine steak-frites or good French fish. Ben had sea bass, our host and John at steak-frites. John began with local asparagus done with onions and parmesan, while our host and Ben had soupe de poisson, made with a lovely lobster broth. A... More

I have been to Le Central with friends, with business associates, and when entertaining some European visitors as a group of a dozen people. I have never been disappointed. From drinks and appetizers at the bar, to a weekend brunch, to small dinners with friends, to several courses with larger groups, we have found the food, the wine list, and... More

Wonderful classic French bistro fare, carefully sourced and beautifully presented with great service. Nice wine list. By far, the best restaurant in Bristol.
