Situated on the wharf/pier on Bristol's waterfront, this attractive old stone-built venue has all the look and feel of a classic seafarer's tavern. Inside it vascillates between pub and restaurant, with prices leaning more towards the latter (and for tourists). The naan pizzas and tandoor-baked naans are good, as are their popovers, but we recommend skipping the overpriced raw bar...... More

Our group of 3 couples had dinner on NYE at DeWolf Tavern...it was wonderful! It's a beautiful place with great food and excellent service. We had a 7:00p reservation and finished our desert and after-dinner drinks at 11:00p! Not due to poor service but to excellent service that allowed is to thoroughly enjoy our meal and our evening together! It... More

My family has eaten at DeWolf Tavern many times in the last couple of years and it's become our "Go to" restaurant when we want to celebrate a special occasion, or simply want a delicious meal! The Chef is outstanding, and there isn't a single thing we've ordered that we haven't been completely satisfied with. My favorites are the lobster... More

Had breakfast here, courtesy of the adjacent Bristol Harbor Inn Continental breakfast was average at best in variety of offerings. Self service from mini breakfast banquet. Quality of food was fine. Location is great, upstairs in the antique tavern. Just two small tables offer harbor view. Staff was friendly, yet barely around.

Our visit DeWolf Tavern was disappointing. I made reservations a day in advance to have with breakfast with my family of 8. When we arrived it took some time to be seated, although the restaurant didn't seem to be busy, (there were only 2 other occupied tables - one a party of 8-10 and another a party of 1). We... More

One of my husbands favorite dishes is made here. The seafood bouillabaisse is next to none other, the juice is delious. All meals are wonderfully prepared. The outside atmosphere is ideal, within water view or the charm of rustic inside. Now for me, only the DeWolf Tavern knows how to make a perfect Coconut Martini. They rim it with toasted... More

The Tomato Bisque and lamb appetizer were both excellent and served relatively quickly. After that the wait was at least a painful 30 minutes before the entrees came. The server noticed and stopped by to say they were "on their way" but it was still 15 minutes more! The fish stew was excellent as usual but I had to ask... More

My husband and I popped in here on a rainy Saturday with another couple for a quick lunch at the bar. The bartender was great - awesome drinks, knowledgeable, friendly, went the extra mile. The food was definitely creative (we each had the soup of the day and half sandwich lunch special). The seafood chowder was not all that flavorful... More

Great tavern atmosphere with delicious and interesting food Loved the Indian Naan bread. The setting on the harbor is fantastic and the history and authenticity of the building itself fascinating .

I fully enjoyed my time at Dewolf As a newlywed honeymooning in my hometown my husband and I were looking for a nice night but something a little fancier than adien's. We walked into dewolf and sat at the bar and that was the best desicion. The bartender was attentive and had so many great suggestions. His drinks were fantastic.... More
