Where do I begin? We chose this restaurant to celebrate my father in law's birthday and ended up apologizing to him for taking him there. We had a party of 7 and were only given 3 menus, had to ask for more. We also had to ask that the candles on our table be lit. It started with our waitress... More

my wife and i had an excellent meal here. The service, menu , price and ambiance were quite lovely. This is not one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten by far, however it can be highly recommended.

I love this place; there is nothing better than sitting on the deck watching the sun go down while eating, chatting and sipping a drink. In Winter time you can sit near the log fire and enjoy a few relaxing hours in a lovely setting overlooking the bay. The service is always top class and friendly and the food is... More

We have been visiting this restaurant once a week for many years. Weekday specials with a bottle of wine are a great value. Food, service, atmosphere are all very good. Same owner and cook for many years.

My wife surprised me and took me here for dinner. She had never been either. The view from the dinning area is great. (You can sit outdoors if you like as well). Service was very good and not rushed. Menu was extensive, leaning more towards sea food (to be expected given the location). Our meals were prepared as we liked,... More

Heard praises so we had "great expectations". We were not disappointed. The service was very good and the food excellent. The owner even stopped by to see how all went. I would most certainly recommend this restaurant.

We visited the restaurant after sunset, but we could tell the view would have been spectacular. Unfortunately, the food was not. I ordered swordfish, which was inexplicably fishy smelling. My husband had a steak which was OK but nothing special. The glasses of wine were tiny. We are definitely not fine dining food snobs, but were disappointed with both the... More

We are always pleased to have dinner here. The food is very, very good. Servers are super friendly. Atmosphere is cozy. Had dinner with friends the other night and they were really surprised and satisfied. Prices are reasonable. Right across from the bay with outside dining in season. We try to eat here 3-4 times a year.

Don't go there. They treat you horribly & take their customers for granted. Go to Quito's, Redlefsen's or Agave which are all in the same area. Not to mention Roberto's, Aidan's, Persimmon & Lobster Pot among others. Bristol, RI is a beautiful town and SS Dion does not deserve your business there.
