Great view, Nice folks, Nice Meal.

I took my bride to the Lobster Pot 20 years ago for her birthday and we came here for a reprise of that experience. Huge span of glass provides great view of the Bay. I don't remember that. It has expanded from 20 years ago. Great view, our server was knowledgeable and fun. My half dozen... read more

Saturday night dinner for four was good but not great. Terrific location but inconsistent service and not a great value. Amazing appetizer of mussels in cream sauce and entree portions were generous but there was nothing out of the ordinary about the restaurant. Servers appeared rushed and did a poor job of checking back to see if all was okay.

My wife and I had been here two years ago when we were antiquing in the Providence area, and because we found it quite serendipitously then, we tried to find it again today for lunch on another antiquing venture. It did not disappoint. We had a nice view of the water from our window table. Our server was attentive and... More

Picture a cold or wam day and your thiniing about Bruch, Lunch, Dinner and you're not quite sure where to go but you know you want a view. Bingo, the Lobster Post overlooking Narragansett Bay and the entrance to Bristol Harbor! My most recent excursion was for Brunch. Because it was a bit on the cold side we selected a... More

We had dinner here, the atmosphere is very nice, food was great, highly recommend! I had the blackened salmon and my husband had the scallops - portions were very big, we split a salad and even then the portion was still big. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and regularly stop in for an after dinner drink and to listen to the live entertainment in the bar. The two bartenders are excellent both as to their attentiveness and personalities. They have three or four regular duos for entertainment. The best is Half Step Down. There is another male duo that really have an attitude and one... More

Consistency: Stunning view, poor service, mediocre food. I wish that our first visit was just an off day but our return visit was much of the same. Although the restaurant was not busy, our waitress never came to check on us or even look our way, once she dropped off the food. Our attempts to flag her down as she... More

Recently stumbled upon this place on a trip home from Newport. Prices were a little high but the food was amazing. So delicious everything perfect. Boyfriend had swordfish steak and it was presented with 5 star quality. I chose lobster fisherman style. Lots of lobster meat! Great to go at dusk. The view was breath taking and when they lit... Luxurious setting for an elegant seafood celebratory dinner. Traditional Christmas greens, several decorated trees, and a crackling fireplace enhanced the wall of windows facing Bristol Harbor. We arrived early enough to enjoy an amazingly brilliant sunset as we dined on a feast of superb New England Scallops Nantucket baked with crumbs, sherry & cheddar cheese, potatoes Lyonnaise, and fresh green...
