Waterfront Lunch on the Deck

We had lunch today on the deck and the view was spectacular... It was a beautiful day for eating outside and the food was just as exciting. I chose a Rhode Island Special - (reminiscent of the 'Rocky Point Park' days of Clam Cakes and Chowder.) I had 6 Clam cakes and a bowl of chowder and a... read more

Yesterday after a hiatus of almost five years, I visited this socalled restaurant on the advice of a neighbor here in Bristol. What a mistake! Yes, the view and tiered decks are fantastic but the food and the service are some of the worst I have experienced in recent memory. My meal arrived cold and when I suggested to the... More

After 10 years living in town, and several years driving by, decided to go here for dinner. Food was disappointing, especially the fisherman's platter with everything overcooked/overfried, and seemed some of the seafood was frozen. Not coming here ever again; once was enough. I still cannot believe that the place is packed every Friday and Saturday nights; perhaps people attending... More

We had not been to this restaurant for over a year due to the fact that last time we went for breakfast the service was so bad that we were there for 3 hours. Some friends said that the service had vastly improved and that the food was good. We decided to give it another try this past weekend. The... More

We ate outside to enjoy the sun and fine views of the water. Very leisurely lunch. and much enjoyed having first walked several miles along the popular trail that runs right past the restaurant.

We have been here a few times over the years and usually enjoy it. But this last time is the last. The food has gone way down. Service is so so at best. Find another place.

After reading about the service here, I almost didn't go. Christine was awesome as a waitress and the bus boy was right there to clear plates away. The view is spectacular and well worth eating here. As for the food, it is the typical fare you would get from any waterfront restaurant. The clam cakes were really good and the... More

We asked to be seated on their outside deck, so we could check our dog from the table (we had to leave our dog in the car - no worries, all the windows were open, it was in the low 70F, no sun; it was a cold evening). We ordered the Calamari for appetizer and the Lobster Roll with fried... More

There is nothing outstanding about the food here except that there are some items on the menu that are really very good. In a trip prior to this one, a recent change in chefs proved to be disastrous for us but then not everyone was dissatisfied with their meals. I decided I would wait until a return visit to post... I do have to say the food was good at this location. I had friend clam strips with French fries. My friends all enjoyed their meals also and were happy with the lobster rolls. 6 of us with a few people having a couple of drinks, 1 appetizer and no dessert was $240 with tip. I find that expensive for... More
