Worth the wait!

Trust me! It is worth the wait. No matter what you're getting, WAIT! I'm just happy they opened a second location in Bristol closer to my house. Instead of two miles away, its now only one... Hehehe! Place was packed with a line out the door on a Monday in August. ...and for good reason! The breakfast items are unique, along with usual stand-bys. All were outstanding. Peanut butter & bananas French Toast, with choco syrup drizzled over it was outstanding. Cheese omelet was made with strong VT cheddar, and it made all the difference! Superb! Home... More

Our food was great and we enjoyed sitting upstairs looking out over the water. We arrived at late lunch hour during the week and were warned that there was up to a 45 minute wait for food (they must do a lot of take out orders because the place isn't that big). We were meeting friends and in no hurry,... More

This is a small, informal restaurant that has great food prepared with imagination. Good deserts too. There are some views of the water from the second floor.

We were at Bristol for the 4th of July Marathon. I found this place on TripAdvisor and also some locals recommended it. They all raved about the French Toast. We ordered : Three Egg Omelette (with caramelized onions and sausage), French Toast, Coffee Cake and a very overpriced coffee. Everything was good except for the French Toast (way to dry,... More

Beehive got great reviews so we went over to Bristol to try it. You order yourself at the counter, and the server did not hear me say two egg sandwiches. I typically would doubt myself, but even my teenagers heard me. Anyhow, after our other three meals were served and we started to eat and the sandwiches never came out,... More

Order at the counter and they give you a plastic animal to put on your table so they know where to bring your food. Coffee, even decaf, is freshly made and delicious. The eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly, poached for me and over medium for my husband. What I will crave until we return is the bread - made... More

This charming little spot has great coffee, baked goods and excellent lunch and breakfast selections. From the outdoor patio, you can enjoy views of the park and waterfront.

The line is usually long and there isn't much seating, but this place makes the best food. We have only been for lunch, but look forward to trying breakfast one day. If you are looking for great vegan/vegetarian fare, then this is your place. Great options for all. You order your food on the first level, then wait for it... More

I hate to say it but, the coffee is not like it used to be, and the breakfasts are just okay. We used to love it at the Beehive, but now you wait in line and it's just not worth the wait.
