OK, the ambiance is a killer...watching the sailboats skimming along a nearly perfect New England seaside vista...and then having dinner. "Ouch! Pinch me, am I in heaven." I think I actually said this as I savored a once in a lifetime a moment with my daughter Alice and her best friend Elaine, two attorneys in the making in their last... More

We have been here before and we were not impressed, and went again tonight and will never go back for food. This place is a great waterfront location and that is it!The bartender upstairs at the rooftop deck could not crack a smile and drinks were mediocre. My husband had the fish and chips-He thought How could you mess that... More

Always looking for a great waterfront dining views within 1.5 hours of MA home. Have been to Rockport, Hampton Beach, and Falmouth for vacation so decided we would give Rhodey a try. Newport, RI was our 1st choice but 2 hours exceeded the 1.5 hour limit for day trip. In looking at other coastal towns came across Bristol, RI. Nice... More

You'll love Thames Waterside Bar & Grill-- that is, up until the point when you get the bill. Overpriced food and drinks seem to be the theme. But I must say, take away the steep prices, the view is truly spectacular and the food and staff is pretty decent.

Can't beat the views of Bristol Harbor. But the restaurant needs an update. The outside is very nice looking but the inside is used. Very pricey for pub food for lunch. Four people, four burgers, 8 draft beers, $120. Yikes!!

This was our second trip to this restaurant. The ambience and scenery of the restaurant overlooking the water with a cool breeze is probably the best in Bristol. We ordered the calamari which was I'm sorry to say, chewy. However the calamari meat was fresh, and the the seasoning with peppers, tomatoes, and olives were tasty. My husband and I... More

We had not been to this bar before and as it was a really nice day we had a beer and sat in the Adirondick chairs and gazed at the water. It really was a great place to be on such a nice day. We decided to have supper as we had skipped lunch. The meal was OK but not... More

Rhetorically, why is it so difficult to serve decent reasonably priced fair at restaurants with great locations? Beautiful Sunday afternoon. Attentive, cordial and informed wait staff. Good beer selection and excellent bloody marys. Orders included caesar salad with blackened shrimp, fried whole clam plate and the chicken burrito. Significant delays coming out of the kitchen produced fairs not worth the... More
