We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of our taxi driver and we were very pleased with his recommendation. We ate on the upper deck, giving us a great view of the bay and a nice breeze off the water. We both ordered the lobster roll which came with big chunks of very fresh lobster meat and some potato... Always stop at Finn's for a lobster roll & chowder right off the ferry! The fish, lobster & shell fish are the freshest on the island.

Finn's was recommended to us by a taxi driver. We only had a brief amount of time to spend here before boarding the ferry home, so we only got a cup of their clam chowder ($4.75 + tax) from the takeout counter. I thought the chowder was very good. Lots of clams and potatoes. Not overly salty. The broth was... More

I am from Rhode Island and visited Block Island over Labor Day weekend with 9 of my out of state friends. Having been to Ballard's so many times, some of us chose Finn's. They should be embarrassed about what they call a Lobster Roll. It was tiny and for $16.95 it was accompanied only by potato chips. (99 restaurants are... More

We took a mid week trip to Block via Discover Block Island. A local said Finn's was the best restaurant on the island. I don't know about that because I haven't eaten at all the restaurants, but Finn's was very good. I chose the twin lobsters and was not disappointed. The service was good and friendly. I highly recommend Finn's.

We were running late and didn't want to miss the ferry. The manager got our dinner out and we were in and out in 45 minutes. No worries! Food was good, service ok. I would go again.

It was fine and the service was decent and fairly friendly but not that good. There are so many good to really good place on BI that you can have more fun and better food elsewhere...but you can't get it anywhere as near to the ferry as Finn's.

The seafood was very fresh and tasty. I had the broiled seafood platter, it was very good, but after tasting the scallops, I realized that I should have ordered the scallop dinner. There were four of us, we took a small boat from Ct and came out for lunch. Everyone enjoyed thier meals.
