Stop in for a wonderful experience, order a flaming coffee. I think its become their signature drink and they do it very well. Makes a great nightcap after a long day of fun and sun on the island.

We had a large group and they did a great job. The food was excellent, as was the service (a slight snafu insofar as they gave us out-of-date menus (one item was different), but the friendly staff and great food made up for it.

I have eaten at The Manisses a couple of times this past season. Both times, the food was absolutely delicious and impeccably prepared. I personally think their Caesar salad is the best I've had anywhere and I could be very happy ordering this with bread and wine and call it a meal. Despite their excellence, I really can't remember what... More

First visit was a mixed bag. Server was very friendly and professional. "Beet Salad" was artistically presented but absolutely tiny. All gone in a couple of bites and only two or three beet slices. Scallops could have been delicious but were over sauced /salted to the point of nearly sending them back. Server said he would pass comment along to... More

From the salad to the scallops to the dessert, the meal was excellent. The scallops were cooked just right and the surfaces were pan-seared. The salad to start the meal and the desserts were just as good. We had window seats in the gazebo. The service was great. The waitress was attentive and any suggestions she made were right-on. Would... More

Dined here on the evening of September 7th. Food was exceptional, Just a pitty our experience here was tarnished because of our bad mannered waitress. It seemed as if she was more concerned about finishing her shift than providing service that should have reflected this calibre of restaurant. Recieved a better service from the smiley red haired young lady who... More

The last night of our Anniversary trip to Block, we decided to go to the Hotel Manisses, We dined out back in the garden right by the waterfall. It was really beautiful and a great setting for a romantic dinner. The service was good, but the waitress was just Blah, It was as if she was somewhere else. We ordered... More

We went there for flaming coffee drinks. The desert was really terrible. It takes a lot for me to not finish a dish, particularly a dessert, but it was so bland and didn't taste fresh. For a restaurant proud to have a farm to table aspect, I was really disappointed.

We are a large part (10) so having a good place in a tourist town that nicely accommodates kid is a hard find We were seated outside in the back - with access to grassy area to run around in and close to the animals next door ... All that and the food was really good. the wine list was... More

The location is beautiful. The food is fantastic. I had the Pho, which I never thought I would get on BI, and it was delicious. My wife enjoyed the scallops and the kids enjoyed that they had a kids menu. This might be my new favorite restaurant on the island.
