My wife and I had lunch at Dead Eye's yesterday and really enjoyed it. We had been thinking about eating at The Oar but several of the locals, 2 shopkeepers and a cab driver, said Dead Eye was "dead on". We sat on the covered porch looking out on the inlet and bay. The New England clam chowder was very... More

We had the best lunch of our trip here. I had the lobster BLT, my husband had the lobster bisque, and we shared a very unique calamari. All to die for. Cocktails great too.

French fries burnt and dry....service poor...waiter reached in front of my wife to get a finished dish as she was drinking wine.

Overall the food and atmosphere were very good. It was a bit loud, but we were with a toddler, so it probably worked to our advantage. We ordered a variety of foods, from burgers to chicken fingers to shrimp and grits. The calamari appetizer was a hit, as was the enormous desserts. Overall, a really good experience.

Took a brisk walk from the center of town up and down to Dead Eye Dick's. arrived for lunch about 12:00 and had a significant wait. Not sure who was managing (7/20/14) but never saw them and we were here a long time! Server Andrew tried but forgot the waters over and over and provided water rapidly to the customers... More

We went to Dicks on the suggestion of a friend. We were not disappointed! We ate out on the porch one night, and inside the next. We all enjoyed our meals. Mine was so good I had it both visits. Go early, it tends to get busy and loud as the night goes on.

In a week of dining, my best meal was at Dead Eye Dick's. The Shrimp and Grits was inventive and very appealing. However, the boozy, boisterous crowd on a Saturday night severely detracted from the experience. Dick's needs to decide whether it is a fine restaurant or a rip-roaring beer joint.

Dead Eye Dick's overlooks New Harbor with a great view. The outdoor seating is comfortable and the food and drink is very good. We went early and the place was not crowded. The price was also reasonable. We would dine there again.

We stopped on our bike ride for lunch and were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the view is relaxing. We had the hot and cold lobster roll which were DELICIOUS! You definitely get a good share of lobster chunks in each.

We had a wonderful lunch here at a table overlooking the harbor. My husband had Caesar salad and I had the lobster roll which was heaped with lobster. One of the biggest and best lobster rolls I've ever had! If you're in the New Harbor area, definitely stop at Dead Eye Dick's!
