Enjoyable

My wife and I had lunch at Dead Eye's yesterday and really enjoyed it. We had been thinking about eating at The Oar but several of the locals, 2 shopkeepers and a cab driver, said Dead Eye was "dead on". We sat on the covered porch looking out on the inlet and bay. The New England clam chowder was... read more

We arrive early before the crowd and got a great seat. The entire staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our server was fantastic knowledgable and super friendly. We enjoyed e clam chowder and seafood bisque. I admit I'm a huge clam chowder fan but the bisque was better. We shared the surf and turf and it was deliciously cook and well... More

Block island is noted for amazing restaurants, but Dead Eye Dick's has to be one of the best. The view is beautiful, so sit on the deck if possible. It is hard to find any bad food, but their Lobster Bisque and Hot Lobster roll will some of the best that you will ever encounter. Other dishes that we have... More

I ate in this restaurant with my husband . We ordered 2 dozens of raw fresh oysters , a beef burger and clam chowder and fried calamari. This was one of our best meals in Block Island ! They have a big spacious dining area and great staff who are always ready to serve you .

Dead Eye Dick's was an easy walk from our inn in town...as they say, a car really isn't necessary on Block Island if you enjoy walking. We sat outside on a beautiful, warm September day with a view of the water and people on their boats. Service was great as was the food...highly recommend the lobster roll!

As far as I'm concerned this is a must if you like lobster. Their hot butter lobster roll and lobster avocado BLT is off the charts. I also had the mussels and they were done to perfection.

On a recent visit to Block Island by boat, Dead Eye Dicks was one of the closest restaurants for dinner. We were extremely impressed. We started with a shrimp cocktail that was probably the best we had ever had in a restaurant. The shrimp were huge and very tender. The sauce was great. Two in our party had the swordfish... More

We had the best lunch of our trip here. I had the lobster BLT, my husband had the lobster bisque, and we shared a very unique calamari. All to die for. Cocktails great too.
