We did not have high expectations after reading other's reviews, but we decided to give it a shot anyway being it was raining & it was close to where we were staying. It's ok, not impressive in any way. We were 4 people, 2 adults & 2 teens, they sat us at a table for 4 that was really tiny... More

My wife and I needed to refuel on a late season Sunday afternoon. Mohegan's location is right on Water Street in the heart of everything. The ferry is across the street. The restaurant was very busy as we entered but gradually thinned during the meal. The staff was attentive and met our needs. We enjoyed the lobster bisque soup, which... More

Bustling on a Saturday night during the tail end of the 2014 season, Mohegan delivered with a satisfying meal. Dining room was busy busy busy. Tables turned over quickly. Service kept up the pace. Entrees priced right and tasty. Their beer though left much to be desired. I had a flight of 4. Pfffft. Hope it's a work in progress.... More

We had lunch here and it was the best meal we have had on BI. Good food and reasonably priced, especially given it's location on the main drag at the harbor, with a view. We had a bowl of clam chowder which we shared, cheeseburger and fries, and a calarmari spinach salad. Sure, nothing special but after a few bad... More

Nothing beats this place for convenience, price, a relaxed atmosphere, and availability. It's not trendy, not elegant, not gourmet---but you can get fed decent food here in a welcoming atmosphere, at a reasonable price.

We had lunch at the bar and returned the next evening for dinner. Both meals were really good. The house blueberry red beer was fantastic, but unfortunately ran out. The replacement, raspberry red, was really good too. Service was good - not sure what some of the negative reviews are referring to. Would definitely go back.

The Mohegan Cafe was close to everything and had a good variety of food and drink. Service was excellent. Food was well prepared as ordered. Try the New England oyster stew, it’s to die for.

One of the more reasonably priced options on the island. I enjoyed local swordfish with rice & veggies ($22); the stuffed sole was the other hit of the table, also with rice & veggies ($19). Great food; great service; local recommendations - very substantial portions! Our waitress was very helpful in pointing out which fish was local & they have... More

This was a very unusual combination of foods. The clam chowder bowl was big enough to share and it was very tasty and rich the way a good clam chowder should be. The Fallefel was different but well done. The pita bread was grilled and warm. The salad included was bountiful and the fried chick peas were different in the... More
