They are giant fluffy warm buttery pretzels. They were so good! If you like bar food, the food is really good. Everyone loved the junk fries and mac and cheese The service was good, and the outside seating was nice.

Great atmosphere but we were disappointed in the food. After reading the reviews we were expecting good food. The teriyaki burger was a liquidy mess, the buffalo wings were not crispy and the other food was luke warm. The mac and cheese is pretty good but was congealed because it was room temperature and had to send it back to... More

We had a limited budget for this little lunch stop, and were amazed to find a beer was $2! The food was also well priced but definitely good quality too. We had a blue cheese burger and a Caesar salad which were both very nice. There is a friendly pub atmosphere to the place.

Went here with my wife and daughters (11&14) after a day at the beach. From the point we walked through the door, the service was friendly and casual - but prompt and professional. Nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere with really good pub food, a decent selection of beer and exceptional waitstaff. Pulled pork sandwich, Greek salad, hotdog and mac and... More

Great place, local hangout. You know, sticky floors, softball teams grabbing a beer after practice kind of place. Had a Greek salad with salmon that defied pub food, was delicious, fresh , nicely done. The band was a bit overwhelming for diners outside, however, and not very good at that. But still, overall, a good meal. No views really, outside... More

You just can't get a good Reuben everywhere. If you are a true lover of the sandwich you will know that some places call a sandwich with corned beef and thousand Island dressing and a smattering of sauerkraut a Reuben. These guys got it right. The also have a cookie they bake in a iron skillet and serve hot. You... More

This place is great! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was fun. Our waitress Karen (we named her KJ) was fantastic. We will definitely go back.

I can see why the Poor People's Pub is so well liked. My son and I ate here and were impressed by the friendly service. Every person who works here was eager to acknowledge us and seated us as quickly as possible. There was a small wait but it was no big deal. This place has a lively atmosphere. Everyone... More

We had the Lobster chowder, the caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes, and macaroni and cheese. Definitely sort of a simple dinner. It was wonderful with a great original margarita and sangria. We ate outside and the service was as nice as the food. Thank you!
