Had dinner here during our first night in Block Island. We decided to have dinner here since it was close to our B&B and had lawn chairs offering great views of the port (even though the weather was kind of gloomy). We visited during restaurant week and enjoyed their offerings. Our server during the time I think were exchange students,... More

I wish I could give this three and a half stars, but I have to go with three. I thought that the inn was a great bargain, in a lovely setting on the harbor. There were ample chairs to sit in and have a glass of wine outside before dinner, looking out at the beautiful view. The rooms were perfectly... More

My husband & I went with another couple to celebrate their anniversary and my birthday. While on a boating vacation, this was the third year we have celebrated these occasions at the Narragansett. Each time has proven to be a wonderful experience. This particular time three of us ordered 3 different types of salads. They were presented nicely on the... More

The food was good.the ambiance was low key island. It was charming and comfortable. We ate outside on the porch overlooking the quiet harbor. What more do u want

Very nice views although we ate inside as it was chilly. Service was excellent and the piano playing was a nice touch.

We saw a beautiful sunset while eating on the lawn. The appetizers and entree were both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was wonderful!

There are two things that make a dinner at the Narragansett Inn worthwhile. First and foremost is the view from the West side of the porch at sunset. I'm not sure if we were just lucky, but we showed up in the evening without a reservation and were able to get a table on the West side of the porch.... More

The chef at the Narragansett Inn should be commended. The menu is creative and the food is delicous. Everything from the clam chowder to the marinara is a step above and beyond what you typically find on BI. Our first night we enjoyed the Angel Hair Narragansett and the Chicken Narragansett so much we dined at the Narragansett Inn again... More

There is nothing good about this restaurant unless you are a masochist and also love to waste money and your time. The service was appalling, and the food worse. Actually the worst ever. I know Block Island is a part of RI and, therefore, part of the USA, but every service person we encountered this trip (we came by boat)... More

On a recommendation I visited the Narragansett Inn for dinner. I've been to Block Island many times but I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the meal. I had Chicken Marsala and it was delicious. Chef Al Lemire is also an avid surfcaster and prepares local seafood dishes. He'll also give you advice on where... More
