My husband were spending a few days on Block Island, staying at Ballards. One evening we chose to dine at The Harborside Inn. The view from the porch is so beautiful. Our dining experience was going very well. I had a delicious lobster roll which was chuck full of large chunks of lobster alone with fries and cole slaw. My... More

Went here with wife & two kids. Kids loved their pasta. Wife thought her salad was a little small for her meal. I ordered a hot lobster roll and a cheese burger for my side. My hot lobster roll had a few cold pieces. Burger was good. Used the bathroom and there wasn't any hand towels. I told the lady... More

This place was awesome, great food great service great food. Bar tender told me if I could imagine it they could make it. The food was spot on. The menu is a lot more plentyful than the rest of the restaurants on the island. I'm still unaware as to why winfeilds is the number 1 smallest selection of food ever.

The Harbor Grill is located in a perfect spot on Block Island which is why we chose it for a late lunch to be close to the ferry terminal for our return trip back to Point Judith. The view is priceless! Initially we were greeted by a hostess who did not exactly display personality plus but she did give us... More

Well, for once I skipped my list of top places and chose the Harbor Grill because of the location and view. Never will I do that again. 100% tourist trap with mediocre to poor food. To start, the lobster bisque was actually very flavorful, but don't go looking for those bits of lobster, because you will not find any. The... More

Fantastic spot -- go here for a drink, by all means. Or coffee in the morning. Perhaps the salad bar is survivable. Pleasant if clueless staff trying to do their best. Shame, shame, shame on the kitchen. The "broiled day boat scallops" were in a jumble of cracker and bread crumbs swimming in watery butter or something worse, half-raw, just... More

We enjoyed the view more than the meal. Since the season is ending in a month, they were out of a lot of items. The food was just okay .. there are a lot of other restaurants on the island that we enjoyed more.

This is a prime location to watch the ferries dock while sipping on a drink. Half the porch is set up with dining tables and the other half accommodates wicker couches and chairs that beckon you to sit and enjoy a drink before dinner. The food here is fresh and prepared well. The best part here is the service and... More

Great place to sit. Server was very pleasant but totally clueless. Server Tried to open a screw top bottle of wine with a corkscrew. Salad bar was best part. We got up to get our salad bar, came back to the table and dinners were brought before we even sat down with our salads. Food was poor and not inexpensive.... More

We had dinner here on 8/19/12. Steamed Lobster and fish and Chips. The lobster platter was very nice and the fish fillet on the fish and chips was a very nice size. This is a casual place to enjoy your food and a nice beverage while you watch the ferry and people traffic of Block Island's main drag
