I purchased four vouchers for $40.00 of food at BlueWater Bar and Grill (which is located at the old Tyler Point Grill) for about $10.00 each online. I have now used all 4 vouchers. This review is explicitly about one experience, but the other 3 experiences were very similar. The location of the restaurant is by the water, but there... More

This restaurant is no longer in business. It was the first restaurant with liquor license in a former dry town - was good. New restaurant - same location - Blue Water Grille - is also good - slightly different menu.

Our party of six was quickly seated and we had the most awesome waitress!! She knew EVERYTHING about the beers on the list and was as accommodating as anyone could be. We tried craft beers and red and white wine and were not disappointed. Everyone had something different - scallops, fra diablo shrimp, clam fettucine, seafood plate, pork loin and... More

Way too expensive for what you get. While there are not a lot of choices in Barrington this one will not be on my list to return in the near future

Great gluten free meals this weekend- yummy seafood risotto and amazing scallops made gluten free by subbing risotto for the couscous on the menu. Next time I will ask for more spinach bc it was so good. Lovely fall roasted salad too- great service, nice wine- all close to home-

We have been very patient giving the new owner a fair shot. The menu is not as varied, is more expensive and does not include the daily specials as before,. Fewer pasta choices and these dishes no longer come with a salad included. There is not a dly. soup D'a jour as previous. The service is slow and uneven! The... More

This place could be so much better, the location by itself is excellent. The food and service are adequate for a good restaurant but not what you would expect in this location by the Barrington Yacht Club.

In all fairness, after looking at their website and reading some other reviews, I expected to be sitting outside with a great water view, not at all the case! You're looking at a parking lot for the marina, yes you see boats in the distance, but not what we expected. Also, when we entered, it's setup more like cafeteria style... More

We recently went to dinner with another couple on a busy Friday night. On the plus side, we were able to get a reservation for 7 pm with only a couple hours notice. Unfortunately, once we got there we realized that the only tables available were in the main dining room which suffers from a very high, unbaffled ceiling. The... More

The Tyler Point is now Blue Water ,under new owners. The weekend night we went was mobbed, and we were with a group that had a res. The food was very good...mussels with very unique sauce for a shared appetizer actually served 4 well. My ribeye was very large and cooked exactly right...rare ..as I asked for, and the others...
