Decent restaurant with good service. Nothing outstanding, but for a quick bite to eat while on the road from NY to DC, it really hit the spot. Make sure you know that there are different areas to sit in. The bar itself is dark, and the indoor sunroom is nicely lit. Depends on what you prefer. Will go again if... More

Went for lunch with a colleague- Our server (Natalie) was fantastic. She recommended the grilled Caesar salad with blackened salmon and it was absolutely fabulous. One of the best salads I have ever had. The hot Maryland crab dip was also excellent. And Tony the bartender is a most talented mixologist! The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly takes... More

Had lunch there after Christmas shopping with my husband. Good burgers -- great menu options, very creative. Interesting mix of young, old, families, college students. Something for everyone. I would definitely go back!

My daughter took me to lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The food was ok, but the service was lacking. It took forever to get the order placed and to get the check. It is very dark in certain areas...but they do offer patio seating. The restaurant caters to a young clientele. This is a place where I will not... More

After biking heritage trail from Glanville, MD we were looking for a family friendly place to recharge for the ride back. White Rose was our 3rd attempt as many locations in the area do not allow kids due to smoking on the premises. Lucky for us. Food was great, service was perfect, and outside seating was exactly what we were... More

This is definately the spot to go for young professionals. It is always busy. They have a fantastic happy hour and many beers on draft. It is close to the beginning of the Heritage Rail trail, so perfect place to stop for a beer after a bike ride. My favorite appetizer is the crab pretzel: it is very filling.

Great choice in downtown York - especially for a Monday lunch where the choices are limited. Friendly staff and good food. Reasonable prices - and outdoor seating that's not on the street. They have two porches and a courtyard to go for outdoor seating. You can also choose indoor if you prefer.

Our very first intro to the restaurant was by a non-patient, sort of aggressive hostess. We waited 45 minutes to be seated outside and consider it worth the wait as we enjoyed the breeze and surrounding churches. Our drinks - Coco Loco & a Planter's Punch were outstanding. We ordered the special appetizer - pretzels with crab dip and cheese.... More

This is a great restaurant for date night, meeting friends & family for dinner. I have been there several times & have never been disappointed in my food or the service. It is also a good place to go to for a drink after a show at The Strand- Capital. They make a great cosmo & the shrimp & Bull... More

We had lunch recently on a Friday afternoon and it was wonderful. We sat in the atrium under the skylights. There are plenty of seats, including the bar, outside patio, and inside. I had the bleu cheese burger and freshly made homemade potato chips and it was all good. They have a nice beer selection, but we had iced tea... More
