The food is good, service is a bit persnickety....seems as though the rich and famous are whats in style here, if they know you, the chef goes out of his way to be personal with you...my daughter and I went in shorts, and weren't headed there originally, and this has happened before, so its not an isolated incident. I generally... More

Consistently great food and the server/host John is amazing! We order the bang bang shrimp every time as an appetizer and it is always terrific. The gorgonzola filet as an entrée is tasty too!

This is a small fine dining cafe. most portions are small and pricey, however I had the soft shell crab and thought is was a generous serving. The beer is ice cold, but only 4 on draft. This is mostly a wine cafe. I thought all the food that was served at our table looked excellant. Based off of other... More

My wife and I visited for an early dinner mid week. We only visit this place one time before years ago. The interior has improved 10 fold and is comparable to other high end establishments in town. The place was surprisingly packed for a Wednesday and the place is a small city type restaurant. We love red wine. The wine... More

We went with friends for dinner here. A lovely menu with lots of choices. Wine list was ok, I would love to see a California Chardonnay among the choices. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the soft shell crabs - they were big and two made for a huge dinner. The spinach salad was great, again large enough to split. Two of... More

Not in the best of neighborhoods but the restaurant was very quaint and a very good atmosphere. We were shown around by the owner who was very friendly. Our food, salad, crabcakes, soups and dinners rolls were very good. The only draw back was it's a little overpriced for what you get. My salad was $14 which is a little... More

We chose the Blue Blue Moon to celebrate a special anniversary. For the price ($130), we should have went to the Accomac Inn. We started with martinis which were good and fairly priced. However, my husband ordered the Lobster Bisque, the consistency of a puree, without any trace of lobster. His main course was the rock fish, which was fair,... More

This is a charming, smallish restaurant, situated pretty much in downtown York. Our soup course (cream of crab with asparagus) was absolutely delicious, as was the sorbet for dessert - which was as good a sorbet as we have ever had. The wine list is on the short side (about 20 reds and 20 whites), but everything listed was interesting... More

Blue Moon is my favorite upscale place in town. The sauces are always top notch and everything I have ever eaten there was superb. The staff is quite well versed and there are some nice (and reasonably priced) wines available. We try to go monthly.

The food was very good and the dessert was well worth it. But what really stood out was the attention from all the wait staff and host. Our water glasses were constantly being refilled. It was very important to them that we felt like very special guests.
