We were visiting the area and stopped for lunch. Our server was great...he made wonderful suggestions and checked back several times. We had an appetizer of blue cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon...can't say anything but EXCELLENT. The pork loin with special sauce and sauteed veggies was outstanding and what a value for the money. The steak with fries were... More

We went to celebrate my birthday with another couple, and definitely enjoyed ourselves. We ordered a bottle of Beaujolais, which was a great red! I ordered their beet salad, which was great! Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and meals. We had excellent service from our waitress, Shannon. The only reason I gave it four stars was the overwhelming amount of decadence.... More

We selected Blue Heron for our anniversary celebration based on trip advisor reviews. Wow - were we ever mislead. The waiter did speak with us and found out it was our anniversary. I wasn't quite expecting a high five from the waiter; spontaneous, I know that he didn't pass the information on to the owner or chef. Dinner was average.... More

This was our second visit to The Blue Heron. We first ate there on Mother's Day.....(enough said) Our latest visit on June 12 was a delight. The varied menu featured Amber Jack and a terrific N.Y. strip that was grilled to perfection, finished with a red wine/beef sauce. Nice variations to old favorites, like escargot and Caesar salad. Service was... More

Went there for dinner for our anniversary as well as for lunch with a good friend. Both meals were delicious, unique menu filled with delicious menu choices. Many entrees have a French touch. Food is fresh, certainly no bulk foods at this restaurant. Relatively small restaurant, maybe 10-12 tables, yet still privacy for conversations and romance. Only complaint is there... More

Staying with a friend in a small town about 15 miles away, she said she was treating us to lunch at Blue Heron, her favorite restaurant. WOW! Quiche, steak frites, crab soup, hot bread fresh from the oven, the chicken salad croissant - all were perfect! We dined on a Friday about 1:30 p.m. and enjoyed the table settings and... More

We've been fans of the Blue Heron ever since it opened in its original, non-descript building right off the Queen St. exit of I-83. Their new location provides a much more warm and inviting atmosphere and there's now a full bar available. It is the closest thing to French-inspired cuisine that you will find in this area. Not a huge... More

This is the best restaurant that I have attended in the last 20 years. The food is exquisite, and just the right size portions. The decor is expensive looking, but very comfortable to be in. The paintings on the walls are available for purchasing. The service is much better than I have experienced anywhere. Our server, Shannon, was extremely helpful... More

We eat at the Blue Heron regularly. Any special occasion, or just when we want to treat ourselves. Lunch is excellent, my favorite is any quiche special. The quiche is very high, very light and always very flavorful. The dinners are all excellent. We have only had wonderful meals here. The atmosphere is pleasant and unlike other fine restaurants in...
