Better than before - Avoid Dessert Though

I tried Viva again after not visiting for several years. I was pleasantly surprised as the food seemed better. The penne vodka is really good - one of the best tasting (with a nice kick) vodka sauces I have ever tried. The baked potato soup is delicious too. The major complaint I have with the... read more

Well where do I begin. We waited about 20 minutes to be waited on at the bar, while the male bartenders screwed around with each other. Then when the female bartender came over to us we ordered a glass of wine and a rumchata martini ( we have had this before here), the bartender returns to us to tell us... More

Whenever I have friends visiting from out-of-town I make sure we have dinner at Viva, because the atmosphere is lively and uplifting, the food is very good, and service is consistently excellent. The desserts, in particular, are spectacular, but I've always been more than satisfied with the entrees and appetizers. At dinnertime, especially on weekends, the restaurant gets quite crowded,... Elsewhere I have posted a negative review about the Coastal Grille from Friday, February 6th, as to how we were treated when trying to find a place to eat for a party of eight. Without rehashing that review, all I will say is we called Viva to see if they had room for our party, to which they answered "we... More

Loved this place. I've been here several times over the past year plus. Miss the tapas! But, at any rate... Came through town a couple of weeks ago. We stayed at the hotel, and had a great meal. Tried 3 deserts! All awesome!!!

Since the Marriott next door has a bar that opens later - you are basically referred to go to Viva next door- No special pricing for " happy hour" early in the day- meals are standard bar fare- with higher than expected pricing. Service is fine- restaurant atmosphere is classic/modern-

We were at Viva for lunch, after a funeral, with other people. The luncheon menu has good choices, but the beer prices are way too high. My husband is a big fan of microbrews and we go to many places to enjoy them. The average price at other places is $4.50-$6.00. When our bill came it listed "2 beers...$15". Needless... More

After a mis-communication relative to a personal food allergy concern that kept them from a five star review and after a personal conversation with Dan, one of the managers, we were able to create a menu selection that was perfectly cooked and free of my allergens. As a frequent traveler around the world, I am used to the nightly routine... More
