I haven't dined in at Tokyo Hibachi as of yet - just take out so far. They have the best sushi in Berks County. Our family typically orders the shrimp tempura appetizer which also comes with tempura battered vegetables - absolutely delicious. They offer a large variety of raw, cooked, and vegetable sushi rolls. We really like their sushi lunch... More

Where do I begin? Let's start with the good stuff. The sushi and the rolls were very good. That's where it ended. We had a large, but not huge party, of 14. Seven adults and seven kids (12-16 years old). The service was horrible. Four dinners were brought out first, fifteen minutes later, another five dinners came out with plates... More

Have had the hibachi twice and regular menu twice. Good food every time, though I think I prefer the variety of the non-Hibachi menu. Nice for lunch as well, but service is always a bit slow.

The Sushi here is great! Lots of option and good price! The Hibachi experience is fun - food is fresh and prepared in front of you - lots of options. Cooks are fun - they joke and put on a little show to make you laugh and feel good!

The non-hibachi side of the restaurant has a much better atmosphere. Our cook was sloppy with the food. The food was okay but not amazing. The service was alright. I would choose to celebrate over dinner elsewhere.

The food is delicious. I have Japanese friends who tell me the food here is as good as it is in Japan. The sushi is excellent! The menu offers a very large variety of Japanese & Chinese foods. I have never had a bad meal here and I eat here all the time. The servers are very friendly. The owners... More

This restaurant is great for sushi and hibachi in the Reading area. I've had their hibachi, sushi and takeout and I'm always satisfied with my meal. The service is good, especially for the Reading area. The small koi pond near the front door is lovely. I've had first dates here and it is a romantic and usually quiet, low key... More

It was a busy Friday night we had made a reservation but some in our party arrived late... no problem! They seated us just a few minutes later. We sat at the hibachi table where the chef put on a wonderful show which included spinning utensils, flames and flying food. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was... More

Dinner can be a bit pricey, but the lunch specials are about $6-7 for something like sesame chicken, fired rise, and egg roll, and portions are good. I've never had any food here that I didn't like. I get lunch takeout a few times a month from here. If they had delivery, they would be even better.
