We found this place by accident after pulling off the nearby exit in search of food. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating - we were able to have the kitchen prepare a non-menu item for my finicky 9-year-old. My older daughter & I had steaks which were very well prepared. We also had some of the best tasting mozzarella... More

I have been to J&R's many times, and I am never disappointed. They have great burgers and their pulled pork sandwiches are delicious. Their BBQ ribs are outstanding, and their steaks are very good. I have never had a bad meal or bad service. I love the atmosphere! Sometimes, we grab a little table in the bar area and eat... More

The staff was really nice and friendly. I had the blackened salmon, and it was good. My husband had a New York strip and he said it was the worst he had ever had. This is from a man that eats greenish, old meat and says it is good. I have never heard a reaction like this from him! Save... More

My husband and I stopped here last night on our way home from my Aunt's viewing in N.J. and I have to say it ended the day on a nice note. Our dinners were excellent. I had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly and my husband had the flat iron blackened steak with a spicey red pepper cream sauce.... More

We decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon on the way back from Bethlehem, PA. I’m glad we did. We were greeted upon arrival & were seated immediately. My wife & I both enjoyed our meal. The service was good also. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

I've been here twice - almost a year apart. Both times I ordered a pulled BBQ sandwich, and both were great! I've also enjoyed their Onion soup and chili. I think the service was average; I don't care to have them constantly interupting my conversation, so I was content. It did seem expensive for lunch, considering we didn't purchase any... More

My main issue with J & R's was their cook, everytime i ordered a steak it would serve it bloody rare (my request was for medium rare), it got to the point i'd prder it very well done, hoping for better results, guess what? bloody rare. No amount of complaining helped, my wife and never got to eat dinner together... More
