I recently flew into nearby Lehigh Valley Airport and stopped here for lunch by myself after reading about it online. I went in the back mall entrance between Macy's and Boscov's, near where some busses were parked, and from there it was easy to go down the stairs to Dunderbak's. It is inside the Lehigh Valley Mall, next to Macy's,... More

What a surprise to find this in the mall! The food was really good. I could see myself trying everything on the menu. And the beer selection is truly impressive. I wish I lived closer so that I could eat here more often.

My son recommended Dunderbak's to me on my first trip to Lehigh Valley in '09 for the great selection of authentic beers. My favorite is Augustinerbrau. I was also impressed by the authentic German food. It's like they say, Oktoberfest every day. And the desserts are fantastic, worth a special trip just for that.

Hard to find since we are tourists. It's inside the mall next to Macy's. Lots of American food along with the German food. No pork schnitzel, only veal or chicken. The Ultimate Pierogies were awesome! My hubby got the Hofbrau Platter and loved it. Friendly waitstaff! The Salted Caramel Vanilla Crunch Cake was great too! I wanted to try all... More

My husband and I chose Dunderbak's for a date night in the Lehigh Valley. There aren't many German food spots in this area, and even though it's been in the mall forever, I never went there growing up. I should have, the food and atmosphere were wonderful! We chose a cozy booth near the front, the place was not crowded... More

Dunderbak's is a wonderful restaurant tucked away inside the Lehigh Valley Mall (next to Macy's). It's a German style restaurant that's great for lunch an dinner. If you like beer, they certainly have a large variety. We were even allowed to sample one for free when I inquired about the specific type and the manager provided us with a history... More

Went with a friend for lunch on a Saturday. Menu seems bigger than what I remember, almost too big. However, the food is still the same, fresh, flavorful, and filling. If you want to try any type of beer this is this still the place to go if you want to try one without having to buy a case. I... More

Been coming here since this place opened. Great German Food and on Sunday you can't beat the Pork and Sauerkraut(lick the plate good)! The Wursts are really good and the beer selection is the best in the area. Deserts are "ok". Service is good but get there early or you won't get a seat! It's a taste of The Fatherland... More

I was with a few teenage boys after a day of skiing, one was a German language student. It may not be truly authentic German, but my group really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and our waitress was terrific!
