Atmosphere, food, service. All excellent. Martin's is consistently good, the BYOB policy adds to the pleasurable dining experience because the diner can bring a good wine and not pay the normal restaurant markup. Marty, the chef, is outstanding. Only slight downside is that its location is increasingly urban and parking can be an issue as well as security after dark.

I have eaten martin's food since I worked with him prior to him opening this restaurant. I have my set menu that makes my stomach happy- Ceasar salad, chicken franchaise with mashed potatoes, and strawberries Kimberly. I felt it necessary to say how much I love it because as I am returning from a trip from charleston, SC which is... More

This is how you run a restaurant. The folk's at Martin's have it down. The menu is large enough to satisfy most but not to big for the kitchen to master. And master they do. The most refreshing thing was that the chef is not afraid to use spices and flavors. We had a chicken dish off the menu and... More

Don't want to offend the good folks in Hazelton, but, quite frankly, as we drove into town late after being on the road all day, we were definitely not expecting haute cuisine. Wrong! This place is, to use a trite expression, an absolute find. It is located in an unassuming store front location that belies what is waiting for you... More

Stopped here while travelling through the area. GREAT restaurant. Stopped on a Saturday night, around 6 p.m. Crowded but they had a table. Very comfortable restaurant with great service and yummy food. I will return when travelling this way again. Seems like most guests were regulars and knew the staff and each other, a real good sign.

Our meal may have been one of the best meals we have ever been served. Make sure you bring your own wine and it is a BYOB which helps with the cost of dinner. The prices may be higher than the average Hazleton restaurant but in this case you definitely get what you pay for! The food was excellent! I... More

I am here in North Eastern, PA on business. It is the second time that I visited this Restaurant since February 2014. I live in Northern California. I love how the Restaurants raised the ceilings making the room look grand and spacious. They have done an excellent job in showcasing the Old with the New in the Décor Department. A... More

My family and I just had an excellent dinner at Martin's. The service was great and the food delicious. Good atmosphere too. Would have given 5 stars but the prices seemed a bit high and they don't have a liquor license. You can BYOB but we are visiting Hazleton so we didn't know. That said, i highly recommend Martin's for... More

Such a gem! All of us had salads for lunch, and they were fantastic. The waitress was very accommodating, even adding extras to our salad for our enjoyment. Everything is made on-site including the outstanding salad dressings and desserts. We all tried a different dessert, and they were delicious.

Unique menu, everything sounded delicious. The sautéed crab was wonderful, service was great. I would definitely go back when in the area. Thank you Tripadvisor!
