Anniversary dinner

We live near by, but rarely go into West Chester. My husband planned a night out for our anniversary and a friend suggested this place. This is a great couples place or even adult group outing, however it is very small and tables are packed in there. It was rather loud when we were there last night... read more

Don't miss an opportunity to check out this cozy restaurant in the heart of West Chester. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy and warm. We've eaten here many times and even went there for a special meal on New Years Eve. They have a quaint bar as well.

The food is amazing. The New Orleans classics are always a hit. Fun drinks too! My hubby is Indian -- he loves the spice. Voo Doo is a fun date night restaurant.

Kerry the owner is great. He knows food and does it right. I wish he would open for dinner. Quality and prices are way better then Classic. It like eating in the city. The service is always good.

New Orleans style, one of my favorite places to eat for about 15 years. No longer is it a BYOB, now they have a full bar. I think you can still bring a bottle of wine if you choose. Jambalaya is excellent, sometimes I'll order it to go on my way home from work.

I hadn't been here in a few years, but a friend had given us a gift certificate so we had dinner here on Saturday. There is no reason why I hadn't been back here and now I'm wondering what I was thinking. The food is excellent, the patrons are very diverse in terms of age and dress and the waitstaff... More

I preface this review by sharing that I spend a decade down south so my standards my be a little high. Did I feel like I was in NOLA, no. But I never thought I would live to see the day where I see Jambalaya Fettuccine and actually order it - turned out to be a surprisingly tasty choice. The place... More

I grew up in West Chester when it was really just a college town...NOT ANYMORE. High Street Cafe is close to campus but is definitely High Class. The food was Excellent from start to finish. We asked for two extra baskets of bread. The Bisque and the Gumbo were both excellent. So were the Fra Diablo and the Halibut. Enough food... More

Lunch or Dinner, it has always met our expectations ~ Would give it a top rating except for the tight quarters with other diners...although that can contribute to meeting new friends. One of the best places to get really good Cajun! Always on the top of my list for favorite places to dine.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful dinner at High Street. We went on a Monday and it was not crowded or noisy. The seafood bisque was voted as the best appetizer by us - absolutely delicious!! The XXX spicy crawfish lived up to its name and made my son sweat. The calamari was also very good. We all enjoyed... More
