Always Excellent!

I've been going to HSC for over 15 years. And Donny, JC, Kevin, and the rest of the staff never disapoint. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is truly unique. I recommend High Street Cafe to everyone! Try the Etouffee!

We eat here often. It is our favorite. Chef Jay creates delicious entrees and appetizers. We are usually too full to eat dessert, but when we do the ice cream is yummy. We always make reservations.

This is my second trip here. I plan to eat here every time we come to Philadelphia. The servings are always huge and we over order and over eat. I accept it because everything is so delicious. I had the wild boar pasta special. It was great. I also tried alligator sausage for the first time. It was moist and... More

Just returned from NOLA and wanted to share experience with my wife. The High Street Caffè did not disappoint. Used open table for reservation, arrived 10 minutes late due to limited parking. The table was ready and the feast was on. The alligator appetizer was tasty, a first for the wife. We both had a bowl of gumbo, for the... More

We dined here on a Friday evening with friends (reservations recommended, as it was mostly full). There is a very extensive beer list, and also cocktails and wines, but the food is noteworthy. The winning appetizer was the pulled pork and caramelized onion flatbread, which was large enough to share. The entrée most enjoyed was the special of braised short... More

Amazing Cajun cuisine! The étouffée is to die for. The fried crawfish is amazing and their pirogies are outstanding. My only "complaint" is that the place is a little dingy but still my favorite restaurant in West Chester.

Great unique food and dining experience. We have been going there for 20 years and have seen the place transform again and again. If you have a picky palate, perhaps this isn't the place for you. Wonderfully spiced, flavored New Orleans style food and environment. Lots of energy and a neat, fun happy hour spot. Highly recommend even after all... More

Great Cajun restaurant! Live music on certain nights. Good atmosphere. Really tasty homemade bread with spicy butter spread.

Love this place! Quaint little corner restaurant offering all the makings of a great experience, friendly staff, great food and fantastic Martinis! Cajun at its best, with all the right Urban flair. I will be back!!

Not only was it great food, but there was a lot of it. I started with the seafood bisque, which was really good and actually quite filling. Then I had the crawfish and shrimp jambalaya, and couldn't even eat the whole thing. One of my coworkers got the XXX voodoo crawfish and it was quite a show watching her try... More
