My husband and I have been going to High Street for years. It is always consistently good. We have NEVER had a bad dish here. he jambalaya salad is a meal in itself. My husband loves the etouffee. Any of their blackened dishes are excellent. The desserts are to die for. They have a great bar - dirty martinis and... More

Wanted something different in West Chester, so went to Tripadvisor for ideas. With a #4 rating, reasonable prices, and online reservations, High Street Caffe won our spur-of-the-moment choice. Lucky for us, it was everything Tripadvisor said it was, and more. Nice intimate atmosphere, great menu whether or not you like Cajun. Incredible service. Our wait person was Marina, who was... More

Great find! The food was superb and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is pretty small, so definitely make a reservation before you go. The cramped quarters can make it a little hectic but the staff is great at making sure everybody is comfortable. We never had to wait long for anything and loved everything we ordered. We got the Blackened... More

Living in the area, somehow I missed this great restuarant. Maybe it is the simple look from the outside. But inside it is anything but simple. It is small and compact, but atmosphere is great. And that matches the food. My table had orders of four different types of jambalaya's. Each one was raved over. The food really is that... More

The Vudoo is one of our favorite places in the Borough. Though fairly small, it has a great atmosphere, excellent food and a cool duo in Donnie (the owner) and his great bartender J.C. The menu stays fresh and interesting and so does the beer selection. For those that know we hope the High Street Caffe is there for decades... More

The name of the restaurant can confuse some people - it is called High Street Caffe and inside is the Voodoo Lounge, but it's very deceiving from the outside of the restaurant - just know it's right next to a laundry mat and Amore Pizza on High Street. But inside, the Voodoo Lounge has great ambiance - dark, lush colors,... More

The three of us all had different entrees that were great. The portions were generous and full of flavor. The pork mac and cheese appetisrt was delicious and not heavy like some I have had before. It is wise to make reservations. We will be back!

In the West Chester, PA area there aren't too many places to find Cajun food. That said, I've been to Louisiana and had plenty there, so I can be a tough critic. We really enjoyed our meal! Like French cuisine, the sauces are what make the dish, and they really had a depth to them. They also had a pre... More

Had my anniversary dinner at High Street Caffe yesterday. Was our first time eating there and I read Tripadvisor reviews. First the good: The staff was great. Friendly and provided good suggestions. Meal choices were the specials. My wife had the pork with a bourbon reduction. The pork was very good cut of meat, very tender and tasty. I had... More

My husband and I have been enjoying High Street Caffe for years (on occasion) and finally brought our kids recently. We always love the food and I think their bananas foster may be my favorite dessert. Ever.
