Charming environment and now they have two corner properties!

I dined in the outdoor stable area about 25 years ago...I remember the charm. Now revisiting, the stable seems smaller and was being used by the Innkeeper's Kitchen for a wine tasting. Blue Pear Bistro is new next door...yet the ambience of the Dilworthtown rocks on! Top notch small dining... read more

We have been guests at the Dilworthtown Inn for special occasions as well as just an evening out, maybe for 40 years. Now with no manager the restaurant is often chaotic and disorganized. Ron Bannister kept things running smoothly and always made guests feel welcome. Even when the food was problematic we continued to go. Now the food is hit... More

We've been going to Dilworthtown Inn for special occasions for 40+ years. Never felt the need to write a new review because the one I wrote in 2006 pretty much continued to accurately reflect our feelings about the place. Sometimes we'd have a not-so-great meal with great service. Sometimes everything was perfect. Sometimes the food was superb. This last visit... More

Tonight I had a delightful dinner there with a friend. Everything about the evening was perfect, from the lovely setting to the delicious food to the attentive and friendly staff. I started with a cranberry champagne cocktail which was quite lovely to look at and to drink - not too sweet, not too dry. Mushroom soup for the appetizer -... More

We have visited this restaurant numerous times over the past 20 years. We would go for our anniversaries, birthdays and it always made a special occasion even better! To our disbelief, our last visit will literally be our last. The waitstaff was unprofessional, sloppy attire (stains on suits), didn't know what the specials were and just the little things we... I had dinner with a party of twelve at the Dilworthtown Inn. The decor is very old world style with rustic looking antiques and exposed brick. There is an air of elegance everywhere, even down to the waiter's tuxedo. Overall the meal and service were very good. We were well attended and people with special dietary restrictions were well cared... More

We went here for a birthday celebration for my wife, we sat outside, beautiful evening, delightful setting. There arethree restaurants at the Dilworthtown Inn, the Inn, the CChef's Kitchen and The Blue Pear Bistro. We ate at the Inn. Prices are high for mediocre food. We started with oysters, little flavour. For a main course my wife had what was... More

This is a restaurant for special occasions as it is very expensive. The mushroom soup is excellent and very flavorful. The filet mignon is tender, but not so flavorful. Chocolate mousse cake is good quality chocolate, but a little dry. Service is wonderful and caring. The ambience is lovely, but I would recommend other places for better food and less... More

Inn has really old and rustic decor like you would expect but the menu was about the same, old and staid. The food was old style and not very good. Had lobster and crab meet risotto and almost found a piece of meat and the taste was bland. If they had poured the lobster bisque over it would have been... More
