My wife and I dine here several times a year and they never fail to deliver a wonderful experience. The service, food, wine and atmosphere combined make for a terrific meal. I look forward to my next meal.

we returned to the inn for thanksgiving dinner. it was expensive and undistinguished. we had a thick generic bisque of lobster essence, a goodly portion of meat but with only two baby potatoes and two baby carrots and a sprig of parsley on the plate ; two glasses of unimportant wine; no dessert and a bitter cappuccino and one coffee... My wife and I ate here close to a year ago, but I still think about it. everything was great, the food, the service, the atmosphere. It wasn't cheap, but it was great.

This is one of my all time favorites restaurants. The ambience is amazing. Very romantic. The food is delicious. The lamb melted in your mouth. Our server was my favorite part. Chuck (Charles)....you made our whole evening! We were there celebrating my girlfriends 40th. We drove up from Annapolis. (2 couples.) Wonderful! Thank you!

We enjoyed every minute of our meal, especially the rabbit pate, pork cheeks, tenderloin and wild boar, oh and the raspberry sorbet and chocolate cake. There were so many interesting and delicious-looking/sounding options too that it was hard to choose and all the more reason to go back. Everything was perfect and most of all the service was just plain... More

I experienced the Dilworthtown Inn back in the 1990's and thoroughly enjoyed it enough to check it out again on my recent trip to visit family in the Philadelphia area. I was so glad I did! Not only is it an historical restaurant, the ambience is lovely, service was excellent and attentive, and the food was beautifully presented, cooked to... More

The inn was quite formal and the room where ate was warm from a beautiful fireplace. The mushroom soup was wonderful with nice size pieces of mushrooms. The scallops were bland and not tender. The veggies were crisp and tasty. The food was good but a little overpriced for the quality.

Dinning out during the Holiday season can be challenging. I was very pleased at how well our meal and overall experience was during a Thanksgiving meal. We arrived around 230 pm and we were seated immediately. Servicer was attentive to our needs and food arrived timely and we did not feel rushed. The Holiday Traditional meal was very good and... As most people know me I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews and by the look of things maybe this was just one of those nights in comparison to all the other reviews. We were given a reservation at the last minute and were excited about finally taking the time to go to dinner to a place... More
