As most people know me I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews and by the look of things maybe this was just one of those nights in comparison to all the other reviews. We were given a reservation at the last minute and were excited about finally taking the time to go to dinner to a place... More

Have been coming here for too many decades to admit and I've never been disappointed. Meals, service and ambience are perfect. For a true Chester Co experience you can't go wrong.

From the moment we stepped inside, the night seemed like it was going to be all right. We moved into a small room with an even smaller bar where the new bar server was clearly inexperienced, the drinks were very small, and absurdly overpriced. $12.00 for a glass of very middle-of- the- road wine ought to be at least a... Very elegant and warm atmosphere, awesome service and food you will never forget. A wonderful experience for a special occasion or weekly dining. They have a superb wine list and I love the surrounding history. You will not be disappointed!

this is a charming structure, unfortunately not original, but quaint nonetheless. the food is traditional high level american fare and more than ample. some of the rooms are very cozy. the service has always been very good. it is expensive by any standards, however. make it special!

i organized a small 40th wedding anniversary dinner for our friends a week ago at the Inn. I spoke with the maitre d', Ron, twice prior to our reservation for help with a couple of requests. He was more that helpful! Our waiter Willy was very attentive and catered to our every need. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks in... More

Returned to one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate a special birthday of a friend and it is as good as I remembered it. Our waiter was hospitable and efficient and had no trouble serving the thirteen of us. Enjoyed a caesar salad followed by a filet mignon and lobster tail duet accompanied by roasted brussel sprouts, carrots, and mashed... More

This was a lovely restaurant, tucked away from the world. Had no problem finding it in the remaining daylight, but boy, got lost trying to get back to my hotel! Staff was wonderful. Only problem was why they had a fireplace blazing when it was 70 degrees outside? Thought my back was going to get singed! Food was great, service... More
