A Touch of the Middle East

Food is delicious. Authentic tabbuleh, tzatziki, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves. If you like Mediterrranean style cooking, you'll love this place. A few other dishes like pasta and fish but mostly Middle Eastern. A few tables downstairs and outside, but you may have to climb stairs if it's... read more

Always good, solid food. Freshly made, friendly although service can be spotty. The mezze are always good - the meat pies are delish. I overrate as always but excused it as "healthy" food. It's a BYOB and in case y.ou don't eat Lebanese/Greek, they always have great American specials. The Apple pie, if fresh, is made right there...phenomenal and I... More

I visited on Friday 09/19/2014 with a girlfriend. We wanted to go to the Olive Branch but they were booked! When we called The Med to make reservations a very friendly chef answered and helped us out. He was super friendly and funny so we were anticipating the same with the rest of the staff.. not the case. We brought... More

First off, it is a pretty small space so you might want to make reservations. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is nice, but it is a bit pricier.

The Mediterranean is one of my favorites in town, maybe because I am Mediterranean.Good food, good flavors, good service. We've been here for dinner many times with friends and family and it was always great. Even the one time it snowed so much most places in town closed, they kept our reservation and served us with a smile.

Excellent from beginning to end! Grape leaf and falafel appetizers were fresh, tasty, and served promptly on a great night to dine outside. Our waiter David was attentive and the young girl who assists was timely and pleasant as well. We both opted for kabobs. One lamb, one chicken, we're very tasty, well seasoned, and accompanied with either beans or... More

This is the restaurant my family loves to go to when we want a great meal in a casual environment. It is consistently good and reasonably priced. We are regulars here. It is a BYOB, you can buy beer next door.

I enjoyed a lot about this place. The dining area downstairs is small and feels intimate. Being my sister and I ate a late lunch, alone, this didn't matter in as much as it could have. The staff was friendly enough. The prices are more than you would typically pay for your corner med supply, but we were downtown. I... More

I could have gotten the same meal for half the price at Cedars Cafe in Frazer. Two dinners, chicken on one, ground lamb on the other, 2 coffees and two desserts, all for the low low price of $72. Two dinners combined only made one portion.

This restaurant used to be a favorite so we were very unhappy when we had dinner today. My husband's favorite lamb kebab was not available so he ordered scallops with linguini. I had my usual ahi tuna kebab which comes with rice, tabbouleh and hummus. There was a long wait for dinner even though there were not a lot of... More
