We had a wonderful experience at Nonna's. The food was delicious and we had a lovely table outdoors on the walkway on a beautiful summer night. It was so much fun talking with people passing by. A great way to meet new friends. Very upscale Italian food in the heart of West Chester, our county seat.

This is a family run Italian restaurant located in downtown West Chester, PA. While it is in a renovated, historical building, the rooms are not overloaded with tables. Therefore, it's a quieter venue than some in West Chester. The food is excellent. I have never had a bad meal. The service is also outstanding.

My husband and I ate at Nonnas last Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and the expertise of our waitress! We shared the best calamari fritti I have ever had! Light yet crisp batter with extremely tender rings! I had the chicken piccata with polenta and fresh spinach! I ate the plate clean! My husband had... More

Nonna's is now called Nonna's by Avelon and has a new chef, a new menu and some minor changes to the décor. The grilled calamari appetizer was outstanding and better than the original recipe, and every entrée was equally outstanding in their flavor and presentation. Our biggest issue was the size of the entrees. I had the chicken picata and... More

Great location in downtown West Chester. Always a good meal, with large portions, tasty specials and wonderful service! Be sure to leave room for the caramel apple bread pudding!

Having been to this restaurant with friends previously I must say this return visit was a disappointment. Our wait staff (1 in training) did not seem to have a heavy load but didn't seem very attentive. My veal was so tough (probably overcooked) that I couldn't eat it (neither could my friends dog) but they were generous and removed it... More

Had a 7:00 pm reservation and seated promptly. Server brought our drink orders then disappeared. Returned when our glasses were empty for our dinner selections. Bottle of wine and fresh bread delivered to table. Our appetizers were finally served at 8:10 pm. Ordered the Roasted Long Hots stuffed with provolone and covered in roaster peppers and prociutto. Plate came with... More

We had a family birthday party celebration at Nonna's Restauant. Nonna's is a family run restaurant in the heart of downtown West Chester with delicious homemade Italian food. The birthday celebration was set up in the wine cellar room which was charming. Marisa, the grand daughter of Nonna, worked with us to set up the dinner. Jessica was our waitress... More
