Not my style, but great food!

The decor of the dining room was very open, basically completely open and very red. The style was old school as you can see in the pictures and being 80's babies, we found it strange. We got over the old style quickly however when we tried the food, the chipotle pasta was delicious, side salad... read more

This is not a place to go for lunch if you are on a tight budget. Just a plain lunch salad starts at $12.00. Plus, if you add a beverage, maybe dessert and tip you are talking close to $30.00 per person just for lunch. Very slow service...it took us two hours just to get our lunch and another half... More

Michael greeted us with a relaxed but knowledgeable style that made us feel right at home. I had the crab entrée delicious seasoning and not mealy; husband had the roasted duck which was perfectly seasoned. The marmalade sauce put it into the five-story category. Ask Dave about what to do around town.

The Mary Wells Dining Room has had a checkered past and is currently having a wonderful resurgence under the direction of Ex. Chef, Jamie Fry, and his cooking team. For the past several years, the Dining Room was okay, but the food and service were not worth making the effort to get there. That has now changed with a totally... More

My family of four and some friends dined at the PW dining room last night for New Years Eve. The Buffet was set up with salmon, a made to order pasta bar, shrimp, pork and kraut, chicken with stuffing, steamed veggies, the best au gratin potatoes, and much more. The atmosphere was wonderful, lots of friends and family all gathered... More

The bar, which is off the right side of the lobby, is a cozy area with a fireplace and a great place to meet friends for lunch. We all had sandwiches or wraps and fries which were tasty but really we would return again for the atmosphere.

The servers, although courteous, were not overly friendly. The food was tasteless at best. The drinks were out of this world expensive for a small town. The experience was not up to par with the prices.

We wanted to try out the new chef at the Mary Wells Dining Room at the Penn Wells Hotel. This was my birthday dinner, so we all had entrees. We actually sat in the lounge, which is my favorite place because of the large fireplace. We sat right in front of it. The bartender in the lounge was actually one... More

This marks the third dinner I have had at this local hotel dining room over the past four or so years. Is was a pleasurable experience all around again. I was in the company of some local area friends, and its nice to see neighbors recognizing one another in their hometown local businesses. We were greeted by the front dest... More
