I'm so glad we stopped here for dinner. We were seated promptly and our waitress was friendly. They have their own brewery so I had a glass of their butter pecan wheat beer, which was amazing. Unfortunately they don't bottle their beer so I couldn't take some home with me. I had the swordfish special that came with salad, rice,... More

Nice place, very popular for a weeknight dinner. Constant flow of folks coming in and out. Tried a couple of their beers, very good. Food was excellent from appetizers to deserts. This is an off the beaten path place, just outside of downtown Wellsboro.

After a disastrous visit to the Log Cabin & practically being ignored there in spite of having reservations, we walked out & decided to go to the Wellsboro House. What a difference! The restaurant was crowded but we were promptly greeted by a cheerful hostess & seated in the dining room within two minutes. Justine, our waitress, was lovely &... More

We visited Wellsboro while exploring the PA Grand Canyon. We wanted to have dinner at a place that was casual and 'local'. We found the Wellsboro House a little bit outside of town off Main Street, on Charleston Street across from the train station. When arriving there was plenty of parking across the street in the train station area. When... More

Pleasant atmosphere and great service. Food was good and the restaurant offers many craft beers. Our server possessed a vast knowledge of the brewing process.

We visited the Wellsboro House Restaurant and Brewery and were extremely happy with both the food and the craft beer. The owner was there and was very personable and was very proud of his craft beer. He took the time to visit with us and personally delivered his craft beer to our table. His beer varies with the season and... More

Although a bit off the main streets of Wellboro (it's across from the old train station), The Wellsboro House is well worth seeking out. The beer selection seems to change regularly and features craft beers as well as their own creations. My partner had a fried oyster po boy sandwich that was quite good, and I tried the South of...
