This place serves the best Cheesesteak around, it's definitely worth a visit. It is very affordable, and has a great relaxed atmosphere, and the cook is down to earth. We stopped by on a slow day in the middle of the afternoon and he even came out of the kitchen and chatted with us. You can tell he takes pride... More

Today my friends and I want to get off campus for dinner, but didn't want to go to our usual Panera option for sandwiches. We stumbled into Landis' and were very pleased with our meals. The meat and bread of the sandwiches was fresh, and there is a whole wall of assorted "adult beverages". The prices are fair, considering it's... More

We have had catering twice in six months. Every bite was delicious. Platters are look pretty enough to go right on your table. No wonder we have come here since 40 years!

There is something to be said for family run restaurants. There is a sense of caring and pride that is usually absent in the larger, non-family restaurants. Landis is a wonderful place to have lunch with homemade soups, healthy salads. the best Phila. cheese steak sandwich, and a broad selection of other sandwiches. They take your order at the counter,... More

Great place for a quick lunch - think "diner" style but soups that cause you to come back again and again

The Jim's Special and the hot pork with roasted peppers are excellent! Serving size is just about right, not too much. The iced tea was a bit weak. Service was quick. Free parking right at the store, if it's available, is a good thing for this area. They have a great bottled beer selection, but we didn't sample the offerings... More

I've lived in the area for 15 years and have driven by this place hundreds of times. Older building, set back off the road, and underwhelming facade.... Older style cafeteria service style. All fresh made salads - I'm more than a bit fussy about salads.... Needs to fresh, not flooded with dressings - And the 3 that I had were... More
