Beer Heaven

We took the train out to Teresa's from Philadelphia due to its reputation for good craft beer. Teresa's did not disappoint. If was very crowded when we arrived, but we managed to get a coupled seats at the bar after a short wait. We were served promptly, and the tap list was very good, so we... read more

The plan was to meet the guys out for some bowling on a Thursday night. It then morphed into dinner first, then bowling, and what better place for the guys to get dinner than at a place that has game meat burgers, an appetizer called "The Neanderthal", and more than 20 Belgian and Belgian-style beers on tap (plus countless bottle... This was our second visit to Teresa's---why can't it be a little closer??? The food and service are outstanding. One thing I love is that every waiter is aware of your table and if something needs removal, someone is over to do it...or to refill water...or whatever you might need. I find that relatively unusual in restaurants, and very nice... More

We met friends for brunch on a Sunday and were very pleased. They have a great syrup- I think it's stoudt. Their list of Belgian Brews is extensive, and I love that they have the individual glasses to serve each brew in. Sunday's also offers 1/2 price cheese plates.

Went here last Saturday for the second time for lunch. Had another great experience. They definitely have the best list of beers that I have seen anywhere. They have some hard-to-find beers that are really highly rated. We were able to drink Russian River's Pliny the Elder, which is extremely hard to get. Lovely atmosphere. My husband commented how nice... More

The beer list at Terera's is outstanding, wonderful selection of belgians, american and german beers. The food is outstanding, there is no doubt the chef knows what he/she is doing. I love the options available from cheese and charcouterie to mussels to outstanding tacos. The almonds are addicting. One of my favorite places for a lazy, relaxing lunch.

I went here during the week I stayed in Wayne for the twin celebrations of my father's 70th birthday and my twin brother's wedding. Despite the big occasion of turning 70, my father, as malt-hungry and modest in celebration as always, asked only to visit this place for dinner on the big day. The place sells a large selection of... More

They prepare excellent moule frite and have a wonderful selection of belgian beers. They do not take reservations and while the food is definetely worth a visit the noise is the worst of any place we have ever dined. It is a shame. But that will not change so enjoy the food and the efficient staff.

The extensive list of specialist beers, including many Belgian imports, is an indication of how seriously this place takes its beer. It even has a couple of British-style handpump. Food was good, too. I had a brochette of scallops followed by pork chop with Brussels sprouts. Both were very good, though the chop could have done with a bit more... More
