What happened here?

We have gone to the Italian side several times over the years and loved the food and it bring a Byob. However, they changed the decor including hard metal chairs and memo style notebook menus and it just lost its identity. Not the same experience and we wouldn't go back at this point,

We stopped in at Teresa's for a beer and small plate. Both were tasty and the atmosphere, both inside and out, is very comfortable. Teresa's has two sides; so when you enter, the bar atmosphere is to the right and the café side is to the left.

I have had good meals here in the past, but last night was way off. We were seated at our table at about 6:40. After ten minutes without a server, we went to the hostess station for help, we waited another 15 minutes and had to go back to hostess stand. Had we not been with friends there, I would... More

This place was all over the map. Cheese plate, charcuterie and oysters were great appetizers. Some lunch choices were very good(pesto pasta and linguine with white clam sauce). Some were acceptable(pork belly lettuce and tomato). One was poor(pork shoulder, rabe and parmesan that was cold with congealed clumps of cheese). One was unrecognizable(the chicken sandwich that was dry and tasteless... More

We went with friends and the ability to chose either bar or cafe and have access to the beer list in either is great. Great selection of Belgian beers, some not available on other beer lists. Also good selection of beers on tap. Food was good, everyone enjoyed their choices. Would definitely go again.

Twice recently, my sister and I have visited my aunt and uncle who live in Bangor, PA. In both instances, we got off our flight hungry, and decided we needed pizza prior to meeting up with family. So, twice, we stopped at Teresa's for a slice and beer -- there really isn't good pizza in the Midwest, certainly not like... More

The food and service were excellent. The waitstaff made knowledgeable recommendations that were totally delicious.

Casual, slightly noisy, but very good menu and wine list. Teresa's Next Door (adjoins restaurant) has a HUGE selection of beer and whiskey, plus traditional pub fare. Would return to either - my highest compliment!

I have been dining at Teresa's Café since it opened, at a time when it was an integral part of the North Wayne Avenue restaurant renaissance. Teresa's still delivers excellent Italian and bistro-style dishes. However, recent renovations have changed the overall ambiance to a less warm atmosphere. The addition of the cozy wine bar was a positive and, although small,... More

Business lunch at Teresa's with four people. Upon entering the restaurant almost looks like it is not open, but we were advised from across the room that we could take any seat. We did and shortly thereafter a drink order was taken and water delivered to the table. Interesting menu with many very authentic Italian dishes. There was very little... More
