1st time Sat dinner visit with husband. Good, refreshing and interesting fruity margarita flavors and various small plates to try. Server was fairly helpful in terms of answering questions; but failed several times to mention the spicy seasoning which we associate with Mexican food, not Spanish. Average prices. Although we were seated inside, many people were sitting outside, enjoying the... More

As always - great service, really good food - good drinks and a good time had by all. Tapas are really good, lots of variety. Recommend the paella.

Great food selection. Great service. Very friendly staff. Try the garbanzo beans three ways - just wonderful!

We have been to Matador several times for either dinner, drinks or apps. While the food quality is good, the portions are small, even for a Tapas place. Drinks are very expensive compared to other local restaurants. We've been to Spain and have experienced authentic a Tapas bars and Matador is just not at that level.

As a treat for my 21st birthday, a friend and I went to Sunday Brunch for their bottomless mimosas and the Bloody Mary bar. It was such a fun experience and the food was very tasty, with mix of of traditional Spanish foods. Although the downstairs is very small, there is an additional bar and seating in the upstairs part... More

Please note that this is not Mexican but more consistent with Spanish food. That's what we were looking from as it's not easy to find in the area. We tried numerous tapas and then split the paella. All was very good. The sangria was OK. We were seated downstairs, which puts you in the bar area. Since it was a... More

Visited Matador with my wife the other night. First off the atmosphere of the place feels very hotel california. Having visited the Hotel myself, the decor did a great job capturing the feel of some of the mission towns throughout Mexico. The food wasn't bad, but Mexican food isn't fancy, or overtly expensive so why was the food? There are... More

My husband and I enjoy this restaurant; this was our 3rd visit to Matador, and they always serve very good food. The dining room upstairs is very nice, and there's Spanish music playing. I enjoy their Sangria, and always have a glass. We try to have 2-3 dishes each, so we can share and try different things. Try the shrimp... More

I took a group of friends here for dinner, as they wanted a place where it wouldn't be too loud to visit and where we could get good food. Although the waiter suggested that we order at least three tapas per person, my husband and I each had two, and that was more than enough. You can always start out... More

Good, friendly service with tasty fresh, sharing dishes make this a relaxed place to eat when in town. Wines by the glass palatable and prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
