If one were rating Main Line culinary "Olympians," the silver would go to Silverspoon! A BYO with menu items featuring local farms and processors, this rather quaint restaurant in the heart of Wayne;s Main Line seems to be "just right" for the locals and their friends. It's rather small, as is the regular menu, but fits in well with the... More

My hosts took me here for dinner after I had given a seminar at Bryn Mawr. The restaurant was on the smaller side with standard tables and little or no significant decor highlights. This is a BYOB restaurant I was told, which was fine with us as my hosts brought a couple of bottles of wine. The restaurant offered an... More

Brunch at silverspoons. Charming Hamptons like atmosphere- Brunch has a nice mix of specialty breakfast items and sandwiches- We tried both- very good, just not great. The ingredients and quality was high which made up for the taste and texture- french toast was so sweet, it was like candy. prices are average to high but somewhat typical- the staff seems... More

We love this place! Spent New Years Eve here, enjoyed their tasting menu and really had a great meal. The staff is wonderful, making good suggestions and providing great service. We are so fortunate to have a restraint of this quality so close to home.

Darling spot in an upscale shopping center. Food and service average, crowded. Will try again. No hits, no misses.

Good local farm fresh ingredients but for high price, overall experience was just average. Good place but doesn't come top to mind for dining options in Wayne/Mainline area. We tried it for restaurant week.

Admittedly I was wrong for arriving late to my reservation at the Silverspoon. I checked opentable and saw they had reservations still available so I assumed they would be able to accommodate me even with my later arrival. When I got there I was charmed by the adorable restaurant and cozy decor. That charm quickly wore away when I approached... More

Service was great. Sat outside for a lovely Friday evening meal. Loved the cucumber soup with crystallized basil , and my skate very tasty. Food was so good we decided we had to try dessert.

Lunched at the Silverspoon Cafe tucked into an upscale shopping area along Philadelphia's Main Line. The service and food were outstanding. Pricey, too, but, hey, it's the Main Lain! Although the cafe comprises indoor and patio seating, reservations are a "must" as tables fill quickly. The one drawback is the noise level from lively customer chatter. All in all, I... More

Decided to give this place a try with a coworker for a mid-point review I was giving her. We had reservations for noon, but the place wasn't overly crowded. I'm glad it wasn't, because given the openness of the place, it could have been pretty loud in there if it was packed, likely making it less ideal for a meeting.... More
