I was in the area and thought I would try the take-out. I called when I was about 20 minutes from the restaurant, placed the order over the phone, and had just enough time to enjoy a small cup of gelato on the bench in the waiting area while the order was packaged. The meal came complete with silverware, napkins,... More

I think of two kinds of Italian restaurants. Traditional (gutsy--based on pasta and red sauce) and foo-foo (with accents like pine nuts in dishes). This is really good traditional with an excellent red sauce. I had wedding soup and then linguini with mussels. Wife had lasagne with a particularly good red sauce. Both really good. Great service--wife considered one of... More

Angelo's is a well known classic in the Washington area, and for good reason. Being of Italian-American descent, I am very critical of Italian restaurants because I am used to authentic Italian cooking. But I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the food at Angelo's is as authentic as they come. Not surprising though since it has been family run... More

The Italian ice cream(GELATO)is delicious. Angelo's have like 30 different flavors of this delightful treat. AND FOLKS __IT IS HOMEMADE BY ANGELO'S. The restaurant is full of the rich, wonderful scents of a REAL Italian restaurant;because it is a REAL Italian Restaurant! It has been part of Washington Counties best for years; before I came into this life. A really... More

Had the chicken marsala and my husband had chicken parmigiano. Both dishes were delicious. Service was good and the food was hot. I would certainly come here again.

I had the chicken parmagiana, with salad and my wife had the balsamic chicken - both were very good, - the portions were quite large. It has a good wine list

The Italian food we enjoyed at Angelo's was very good. The Pasta Angelina and the spaghetti and meatballs were a large size with ample leftovers. We finished off the meal with ones of the many gelatos. Fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and was helpful when suggesting gelatos for our dessert.

The food is fine, pasta and flatbread. A little overpriced, but overall good. However the service is not good.

I am the owner of Angelo's. We didn't get to be 75 by having lousy service as a general rule. Mostly we have great service, but we also have humans who aren't always at their best. Could you provide me with some specifics as to what was wrong with the food and service in your particular case. This helps solve... More
