Nothing Special

Had heard some good things about this place, but I was definitely not impressed. The setting reminds me of an old-style Denny's, with old booths, tables and chairs. The service personnel worked hard, the girl that had our table, had 4 others as well. I had the seafood platter which consisted of... read more

The food is very good, and prices are very reasonable. The ambience isn't great, but the quality of the food more than makes up for that. They also have an extensive list of cocktails and craft beer.

We were booked into the Bistecca at the Meadows only to find it was in a smokey casino so we gave it a miss and at the last minute found Solomon's Seafood. What a lucky break. Great service and absolutely superb food. What a great place.

Please ignore the 1 star reviews posted prior as we really enjoyed this restaurant. You walk in and to the right is a bar area with tables and booths. There's also seating to the left once you walk inside. We ordered martinis, a Stella beer, and white wine by the glass. Prices were very reasonable. We moved to a table... More

Solomon's Seafood & Grille is a locally owned restaurant. Since we are rather far inland this is like a quick trip to the shore for a fresh seafood dinner. We enjoy sit down and take out on a regular basis. The seafood bisque is one of our favorite appetizers.

Seriously, go to the Union Grill or Angelo's. This place only gets worse.. I cannot believe how the management in this establishment allows their staff to chew tobacco while they work! That gags me. There was "shrimp leavins" all over the floor, and I have never heard such profanity from the next table which I believe were staff members or... More

A friend and I ate at Solomon's today, it was the most disgusting meal that we have had in years, the shrimp was so tough even cutting it with a knife into small bites didn't help, the Brussels Sprouts were awful, even sending them back they were just as bad on the return, the fish was OK and the baked... I hate it when a good restaurant goes bad. Was disappointed w/the change in food: flavor, quality etc....Service was very slow. My mother has gone several times for lunch with friend for lunch & said it's not what it used to be. Please bring back the old staff & cooks.

Tried Solomon's for a late lunch on a Saturday with three others. Found the dining room about 75% empty. Not surprising given the time of day. We were promptly seated and given menus for lunch and dinner. We all went with the lunch menu selecting various soups, salads, sides and fish sandwiches. Everything was delivered to our table in very... More

My family goes to Solomons any where from 1 to 2 times a week and find both the food and the service great. They have a broad menu and we have never had anything but excellant food. The clam chowder is the best and their fried cod sandwich is the best around. We have recommended Solomon to many folks and they... More
