The Best in Washington

I gave it 5 stars, not because it's the greatest place I've ever eaten. It's not fine dining. It is however a great, great place. If you're reading this review because you're unfamiliar with Washington and are looking for a good place to eat, go to this place. Everything our party of 3 ordered... read more

Stopped in for a dinner date on Saturday evening after 8 pm and were seated immediately. The glass of Rieseling was outstanding. Balsamic vinegar dressing added a nice zesty flavor to the salad. Enjoyed the Penne a la vodka adding grilled chicken which was yummy. Will have to save room on a return trip for dessert!

Stopped here before checking in to hotel as my husband and I wanted to grab dinner and a drink. The name throws you off. This is not a bar and grill, it is an Italian restaurant. Reading reviews and seeing the name, we assumed it was like an everyone knows your name, sports memorabilia on walls kind of place. It... More

Nice local bar and grill. Good Italian food. Husband had chicken parmesan and I had the special chicken cacciatore. Tossed salad was very good and also the dressing. We were there for lunch and was able to get a smaller amount for lunch which was nice instead of just eating a sandwich. The waitress explained how my dish was made... More

A good place to go for a good meal and good service. A little off the main shopping area, but not hard to find. You can sometimes order a half portion and have plenty of food. Have not been disappointed.

The food was good the staff was on the mark, but most of all the entertainment on Thursdays is wonderful. Antoinette has such a beautiful voice. You will definitely be entertained. A must see in Washington PA.

Hoping for food that was fresh, homemade, (not a chain restaurant) and yet affordable, we stopped here. A nice cozy family atmosphere greeted us and the food was out of this world delicious. Imagine anarray of old world pasta and other five star entrees created from scratch with deserts such as homemade chocolate cherry covered icecream and pistachio cheesecake. We... More

I read the reviews. I'll admit to being a lite confused. I hear, "the food is great", "service is great", "music is great", and then there are disparaging remarks about the atmosphere. Folks, this isn't LeMont, I'll give you that. But entrees aren't $50+ either. I had cream of mushroom soup. Awesome! Best I've ever had. Then a house salad... More
