Augusto's Gets an A+

Augusto's can be pricey, but the food is excellent. Years ago we brought my daughter and her husband(who then resided in Hoboken, a Path ride to NYC) here for a birthday dinner. They both ordered fish specialties. Their response: "New York quality at Warminster prices." Not quite. But we go... read more

Augusto's is a great byob with really good food. Service is spot on. It's a small place but you won't feel rushed. The crabcakes were delicious...jumbo lump crabmeat. Tiramisu was light and fantastic. Becoming one of my favorite places. I went with a date but good for a group of friends or family too.

From the outside, Augusto's looks like a Knights of Columbus or Elks lodge plopped in the middle of a residential area. Inside, however, it is a calm and serene oasis of warmth and casual elegance. The host warmly getter us and checked in with us several times to make sure that we were happy. The server was friendly and attentive.... More

This small eatery on Madison Avenue in a residential section of Warminster has many nice things to offer, an intimate setting, nice staff and some food that is above average. On the whole, our recent experience at Augustos was mixed. We dined with a large group, which the restaurant nicely accommodated. Appetizers were just ok, and on the whole, did... More

Had dinner with a large group - most of us ordered the rib eye (done perfectly) or swordfish specials, another the jambalaya and another lamb chops. We all were immensely pleased with our entrees. Our meals included lovely rolls and a wonderful salad. Some ordered the lobster bisque with crabmeat, another the calimari beforehand. We shared a few desserts -... More

I recently went to Augusto's for the first time, having heard wonderful things about it. And it was even better than I had heard. It's a small BYOB restaurant, so reservations are a must. The intimate setting is part of its charm. The food is wonderful and creative. And the servers are the best -- knowledgeable, personable and full of... More

While visiting family in Newtown, we arranged to take my elderly parents out for a nice meal. There were 10 of us, which sometimes can affect a good meal. Augusto's did a wonderful job of accommodating all of us. We were lucky that it was a slow week (after Labor Day) and we got in for a Saturday night at... More

Do you simply enjoy outstanding food in an appealing atmosphere? Serving Italian American Fusion food, the appetizers (I had lobster bisque) were varied and unique, the presentation was beautiful, the entree (lamb) was outstanding, delicious and plentiful! Dessert was tasty. While it was a weeknight and not crowded, our server was attentive but not overbearing. My party dined and took... More

6:30 reservation. Very slow initial service and then at 8:35 we were told we need to leave to "free up" the table. The owner wasn't even courteous about it. We had yet to review our bill. He told us "2 hours is more than enough time to eat".They advertise "leisurely dining" and then treat their customers like they're doing you... More

First of all, let me qualify this review by saying I am pretty critical of fine dining restaurants and have higher than normal expectations, while I have lower expectations of chains and casual restaurants. This "off-the-beaten path" restaurant is designed to be an fine dining suburban restaurant, hence a higher expectation. However, it is BYOB. The menu is varied including... More
