We found this spot as we were looking to find a place to eat on our way out of Bucks County heading north. We picked up one of those tourist brochures near Valley Forge and headed toward the Delaware river. Having never been to this part of PA - we were looking forward to heading into Bucks Cty - well... We live extremely close to the Indian Rock Inn and like to eat here, since we know that we receive a consistantly good meal at a decent price. (Keep reading though). We are steak people and like to try the same cut steak in different places. The Indian Rock has a fantastic filet that is priced quite resonably. We have... More

This restaurant has a great location along the river in beautiful Bucks County. How can it be bad? The building is in disrepair and needs immediate attention. Quaint it is not! Dirty and outdated, but that might be because the owners allow their ancient dogs to walk freely in the restaurant leaving presents for unsuspecting diners. The menu probably hasn't... More

Several times a year, we find ouselves out for a Sunday drive along the Delaware river. We just can't drive by the Indian Rock without stopping in for a drink and late lunch at the bar. This place seems to draw nice people. The bar is intimate. NO TV. Alway a good conversation to be had. The bartender, Chris, is... More

Where do you go for a drink on Superbowl Sunday if you are not, (perish the thought), a football fan? We picked the Indian Rock Inn and it was a touchdown for us! The bar there is not a sports bar. No blaring TV and no screaming and groaning patrons for us to share our “date time” with. Instead we... More

The is a social gathering every night on the front porch to watch the sunset over New Jersey. That's right!. Due to a sharp turn in the Delaware River, you are actually looking west. You can have drinks on the porch, or eat in the bar or two lovely dining rooms. One dining room overlooks the canal and the other... More

This place food wise is always fantastic and it's a pity that on the dining side they do what appears to be so little business. On a recent Friday visit the bar was packed both inside and out but the dining room was empty with the exception of one other couple. We got the Pecan Encrusted Salmon and the Chateau... More

Every dining experience for us contains "The wow factor". The first wow is the menu and the selections here are wondrous. Eating in the bar combines the best of both worlds. You may order from either the dining room menu or the bar menu. When the food matches or exceeds the expectation of the menu. Absolument! The "French Onion Soup... More
