I would say it is average restaurant. Nothing great. Lunch buffet is pricey. There is not to many Indian choices.

I love to try Indian restaurants where ever I go, and Tandoor Palace does not disappoint! I have basically tried everything on the menu and I cannot say I have had a dish i didn't enjoy! The buffet is definitely worth trying to get a taste of everything in one shot. The prices here seem comparable to every other join... More

Very good food and service. Ambience leaves a little bit to be desired but quality of food more than makes up for it. Will definitely go back

Food, service and value was quite outstanding. I had the goat curry, we ordered rice and garlic naan (bread) to complete the meal. My wife had a chicken dish that was nothing less than spectacular. We ate in the old RR car. We look forward to going there again next time we are in the area.

We ordered salad and was provided a decent sized salad with raita dressing. It was yummy! Bhendi masala was good too and neither soggy nor oily that usually is at other places. Friendly staff, were able to provide warm milk for baby on request, enjoyed our dinner in the train seating; cons - too much waiting time We enjoyed the... More

First time trying Indian food. The food was great, very diverse and good portions for the value. The place was a little dirty, carpets looked like they had never been cleaned. Our waiter was nice but his shirt was dirty as if he was working in the kitchen as well. Overall very good, I just think the place (and waiter's... More

Visit this restaurant only if you are stuck on Interstate 80 and are craving for Indian food. Currys are nothing else but sour cream with spices thrown in haphazardly. If you ask them to make spicy, they just throw in red chilli powder. Have been three times, each time the food gets horrible.

I go there for lunch buffet about every other week. They use good quality meat and the taste is very good. Buffet is affordable, I don't go there for dinner since it would make the cost go up significantly, Indian food in general is expensive if you order a la carte.

Located next door to the Days Inn close to I-80 in Tannersville, the Tandoor Palace indian restaurant is a hidden gem. Perfect for a hearty warm meal after skiing! The food is quite delicious (we tried everything the buffet had to offer - about 10 dishes total). And for unlimited food, the price is hard to beat. The decor is... More

It was our first time to this place and we were not aware of the train model of this restaurant so got really carried away and impressed, the food was ok but not worth the price we paid for the special meal. The decor was just excellent with Lord Ganesha, that was the most appealing part. The servers were very... More
