The Hampton Inn a few blocks away suggested this place as being close enough to walk to and a great place to eat. They were right. The building used to be a bank and still has the vault door, inside of which are displays of Irish money. The pub looks traditional complete with a couple of foul-mouthed Irishmen who had... More

I ate hear on one occasion during October 2014. They had a special, that was a four course meal for $18.99, steak, potatoes, appetizer and dessert. All of which were excellent. This is a good place to eat dinner, however; if you are there on the weekend, make sure you get there early. After they stop serving dinner, this place... More

My wife and I ate at Siamsa this past Monday and were not disappointed at all. She started off with Onion soup and their chicken pot pie. Both were served piping hot and were quite tasty. I had their potato leek soup and Guinness Irish stew. Both were excellent. We will eat there again on our next trip to Stroudsburg..

It's nice when you can walk into a place and feel like you've been there before. This place is so traditional Irish pub that you feel like you've been there already. Comfortable feel, food is good and cheap. Nice

Siamsa makes a very good initial impression. The food itself is perfectly OK - nothing to complain about. But, it is exactly that - the mundane taste and presentation - that keeps Siamsa from being a truly extraordinary restaurant. A great venue for meeting friends, having a beer, enjoying a hamburger. Nothing else.

Their fish and chips is the best I've had. The Sunday brunch full Irish breakfast is delicious and filling. The food is consistent and the service is good. I'm always happy to meet a friend there for lunch or dinner.

This pub has so much character! The manager seated us immediately and the waitress was very prompt. The food and service was so good. We were there on a weekend getaway and will definitely will visit again next time we are in town.

In town for a wedding and had the pre-nup dinner here-- great food and a fun atmosphere in the upstairs party room. Went back on our own the next evening to have dinner and enjoyed sitting outside. Great traditional Irish fare-- and we've been to Ireland and know what it should taste like! Had bangers and mash and Chicken Pot... More

This bar is one of the coziest places I've ever been into. It has a nice atmosphere and really nice staff. If your a ESU student you get in for free if not its a three dollar cover the drinks are cheap as long as you get the house liquor. There's music and drinks you'll have fun!

The first time we at Siamsa Irish Pub was in January 2014. The food and service were so good we booked my son's rehearsal dinner for Sept 12th. We have visited the pub numerous times before the rehearsal dinner and sampled much of there menu. My favorites are Shepard's Pie, Fish and Chips, and the Streak Sub. The party room... More
