My wife and I went here on the recommendation of our B&B, telling us it was a little pricy for the area. Yes, it's pricy-and worth every penny. This is an exceptional restaurant, with both wonderful food and great service. While the liquor pricing is on a par with NYC eateries, it is more than compensated by the preparation, presentation,... We go for all of our special occasions, as well as simple date nights. We've never been let down. I work for a resort in the area, and recommend the stone bar as often as I can.

The restaurant is located on business 209 just west of route 33 and just beyond the snydersville diner. They have an excellent menu of meat and seafood items and fantastic appetizers. I always get the escargot and this time we paired with the brie which was a very interesting and delicious presentation. The crab cakes actually had some pretty good... More

I've been here a few times and the food is always very good. We tried the chef's table and though the food was wonderful, there was not a special menu. The seating was in the kitchen, but we could really see any of the action. They also have outdoor seating for the nicer times of year.

We got the address from the Internet & what shoułd have been a 45 minute drive from Mountain Top took two hours then another 20 minutes to arrive. The entrance was a little dark but it was a side door. We were quickly seated to our awaiting friends. The menu was a little high priced but we were satisfied with... More

I have dinned at the stone bar multiple times, at the regular dinning room, in the wine cellar, and now my family had the chance to dine in the kitchen..... I have heard about this before but never thought it would be anything I would like to try. it is one of the best restaurants in the area.... if you... More

Service, price, friendliness can't be beat. Worthwhile going back again and again. Menu is very extensive and we're looking forward to another visit.

We were looking forward to eating here, but were terribly disappointed. We were seated in a very cramped booth (more like eating in a tavern, not a fine restaurant). The wine list was incredibly expensive....pinot grigio and chardonnays were $40-44...the house chardonnay half carafe was $25!....our waitress brought a glass filled with 4 crackers and a small ball of butter...
