There is a choice of eating outside on the patio or inside where there are three dining areas. It was too hot outside so we chose the first area on the right where it was tastefully decorated with French poster pictures and had a large fireplace as a feature - thankfully it wasn't lit ! The service by Deirdre and... More

The Fireside Tavern is a beautiful classic brick colonial structure with a center hall and a dining room to the left and the bar and less formal dining room to the right. The food and the setting was so nice we decided to eat there both nights. On friday night the tavern side had a solo artist playing and our... More

Today we visited Fireside for a very late lunch. We enjoyed the tavern burger and taco chicken salad. Both were wonderful, but the best part was the peanut butter pie for dessert. All of the desserts are made on the premises. A must eat experience!

We went for dinner on a Friday night. It's a good thing we had reservations! They were quite busy! Quickly greeted and seated, we checked out the menu while our server brought our drinks. I opted for the tomato bisque soup and a half portion of Shepherds Pie. My wife chose the full portion of Shepherds Pie. The tomato bisque... More

This was a wonderful night to eat out and the patio dining is quaint and charming, complete with fireflies at dusk!! The food was delicious and our waitress was very pleasant.

stopped at his place for lunch as we traveled through Strasburg. A great location, away from the tourist traffic. It was quite a charming place with good food and excellent service. Indoor pub style restaurant or outdoor seating beneath an old willow oak. We chose outdoor seating, beneath the willow oak and were delighted, finding a pleasant view of nearby... More

We were in town with family to see a show at the Sight & Sound Theater, which is less than 10 minutes away, and needed a place for dinner before the show. One member of our party is gluten intolerant so that was a "must have" criteria. The Fireside offers a broad selection of meals and is flexible in meeting... More

This place is hot or miss. We stayed next door and reserved for 2 nights so as not to travel for dinner on 4th of July weekend. visit was fantastic. Sat under the willow oak at table 24 overlooking the farmlands felt like we had the place to ourselves. Deidre our server was so accommodating. Flawless server. The food was... More
