The restaurant was quaint and surrounded by farmland and Amish lifestyle! A lovely duo. We ordered the filet mignon and were told that comes with mashed potatoes and green beans. Believe me, we weren't sure about this, but decided to go with it. Best mashed potatoes ever and even the green beans tasted fresh from the field. The desserts are... More

Enjoyed our dinner once again. Sunday night's Wing Special is a hit with us. $4.95 for 12 delicious wings! I usually eat half & take half home because I can't pass up my favorite soup. They also have a list of special drinks that are superb. Service was top class too. This is a place you should put on your... More

I liked the atmosphere better than the food. The service was excellent. We had fried oysters, which had too much breading for my liking. The vegetables and salad were good. The apple crisp was delicious.

What a great find! Been coming to Lancaster area 25+ years and never knew about the Fireside Tavern. We stayed in The Clarion hotel in Strasburg and the Fireside Tavern is literally next door. We went two nights in a row. They have a great menu. The place was packed both nights... always a good sign. We all had different... More

We were staying at a B&B and when we asked the owner where we could eat, he recommended the Fireside Tavern. We ordered the nachos and the Shepherds Pie. The nachos were good but not anything special. The shepherd's pie was delicious! They have a nice variety on the menu of both food and drinks. If you like scenery, sit... More

A typical country bar/restaurant. But a good one! The steak, though pricey, was very very good. I had the ribs, which were also good. We ate at the bar, which i would recommend.

My wife and I had dinner here for our 33rd wedding anniversary. The setting and service could not have been better. After a full day of antiquing and shopping and a very late lunch we decided to stop in for a light dinner. I ordered the New England Crab chowder and my wife ordered the tomato bisque as our appetizers.... More

We had been sight seeing all day and came here as the sun was going out. We never went inside when I saw the large tree and deck for outside dining. I got Salmon that was delicious! They gladly cooked in a different way because I was allergic to their apricot sauce. My husband got ribs that were tender and... More
