Most Chinese restaurants in America are all permutations of the same basic formula: establishment names taken from a word bank that includes "golden, dragon, wall, china, wok, and garden", and menus that are nearly identical in quality and quantity... Both of which are mediocre at best. And then there's big bowl. Despite it's rather unorthodox location, big bowl serves the... More

A lot of different choices on the menu, with most running around $. Surprised about the presentation since this is pretty much a fast food asian place. Food was good, not 5*, but then again for fast food it was very good. definitely a place to hit and return to if no other options exist. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

During a recent stay, we were looking for someplace to pick up some food and relax back at the hotel and selected this restaurant based on the reviews. There is a huge menu to choose from and our food was ready very quickly. Everything tasted great. I particularly like the steamed dumplings. Prices were very reasonable too. Just remember to... The cook who made my MEAT DUMPLING IN CHILI OIL(紅油抄手) can't be an Asian. The dumpling itself is fine, but the source is really weird like a mix of mexican chili with a lot of suger? Or maybe it's a specialty for students I don't know. If you are expecting something asian, just don't order this one. The congee I... More

Big Bowl has a street level sign but the actual restaurant is in the lower level. The menu is big with a wide variety of options. I ordered spring rolls and noodles with chicken. The portions were large and I enjoyed both. The space is clean, spacious and service was good.

Visited on a reunion trip. Food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful! My husband and I both had the pork dumpling noodle soup. The dumplings were excellent, and the broth and fresh veggies gave it a wonderful flavor. Portion was huge, and value was great. The only complaint was the fact they charge you for a fountain drink and offer no... More
