We had a great breakfast at The Corner Room. We were seated a few minutes after we checked in. This wasn't a bad wait for Blue & White weekend. All three of us had terrific breakfasts. I had ham, eggs and hash brown patty. My wife had the breakfast quesadilla and my daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and eggs. The... More

The Corner Room is a very local place with a huge menu that will accommodate just about anyone's tastes. Very kid friendly--things to color, great milkshakes, great daily specials.

I have enjoyed eating at the Corner Room since I came here to go to school in 1986. The look of the place is the same, but tweaks have been made in the menu over the years - all for the better. Excellent for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Their soups are delicious. Burgers are always very good. They'll make... More

We stopped in as we were meandering through town. Enjoyed the meal...the Sweet Potato Bisque was rick and creamy. Meals were good and filling and economical. Definately, a place to stop!

Went to lunch with a coworker for my first ever visit. Our waiter, Geoff, took our order, and that was pretty much the last time we saw him until he brought our bill.. I can honestly say that I have never had poorer service in my life. He never checked back on us to see how our meal was. I... More

Was here graduation weekend and went to breakfast here. It also happened to be breakfast with Santa day and so there were a lot of families there to see Santa and Mrs Claus. In spite of that we had very good service and a very decent breakfast. Ate here years ago when our kids were students and nice to see... More

It was a cold, wet day. We stopped here for lunch. I had a cup of their clam chowder. It was creamy with good flavor. Adequate chunks of clam. Also, had a chicken quesadilla, which was one of the better ones I've tasted. Waiter was prompt and friendly. I'd try this place again.

This may be the original State College eatery. Not much flair, but good, inexpensive food. They have a variety of sandwiches and several blue plate specials including Shepherd's Pie. This is one of my favorite meals and I have had it at many places. This is near the top. Looking for atmosphere;no--Looking for good basic food; yes

This place has been around forever and is a favorite place of locals and gatherings after a football game. It is usually busy, so don't be in a hurry. The food is nothing exotic but basic, good and most of it is home made. There is a lot of nostalgia to this place, so you must try it when at... More
