Went there for dinner last night, was crowded and loud, very hard to hear your dinner companions speak. but on to the service and food, We did have an excellent server, quick with refills, and making sure things were okay. We started with the Brie app and the potato pancake app, both were very good, I would like to see... More

Don't be put off by the strip mall location. Reliable burgers, sandwiches, and salads along with some German specialty items on the menu. We've eaten here for both lunch and dinner; dinner specials were not as impressive as the sandwiches and salads, which are available all the time. Hearty portions. Extensive draft beer selection, as it should be at a... More

Have only been here for lunch but the service is good and friendly and the sandwiches and black bean burger are very good.

I ahve eaten there about 5 times while on business, I never had a bad lunch. They easily accomodated a larger group and we had good service. Fairly wide menu, give it a try, I think you'll be satisfied

Home of hearty sandwiches, home made sausages and brauts and a great selection of domestic and Bavarian brews. A good selection of menu items from meat eaters to vegetarians and lots of good drinks to wash it down. Celebrating with the Bavarian Stompers and the Chicken Dance on all the important holidays and plenty of big screens to enjoy sporting... More

Schnitzel's in Bellefonte was one of my favorite restaurants. It had an amazing atmosphere, weather you ate in the dimly lit dining room or the outdoor patio by the stream. And the food was fantastic! Unfortunately, it burned down. The owners now have the "Old New York" restaurant in State College. The food is similar, although the amazing smoked pork... More

First time eating here. Food was good and server was attentive. Numerous selections on menu. When we arrived there - about 4 p.m. - we were only ones in dining room. When we left 2 hours later, dining room was full. Yes, I'd go back again.

Olde New York Restaurant has a large menu selection. At 11 Am we were the only one in the restaurant, but shortly after ordering, we were joined by two other couples. The entire restaurant had a damp/musty smell to it, and there was a pail on the floor -- evidence of a roof-leak. Unless you are a regular, be prepared... More

Recommended by a local. It was very close to our motel, that was the good point. Decor nice but not very warm or inviting. Food was a dissapointment for me - weiner schnitzel; greasy, potato pancake was large shreds of red skinned potato, red cabbage toooo sweet, sour dough roll. Hubby had brat platter-he enjoyed it. Pricy for a strip... More
