Favorite spot for beer and wings

Since I was in college many moons ago, I have raved about Champs. Their wings have been the standard to which I hold all wings- I have several favorite memories of their Wing Nights from college, and it was nice to see they continue the tradition. This time we were able to sit outside since it... read more

Great place for lunch with friends or for business -- good food with a great sports ambience. Servers were fantastic and the meals are reasonably priced. The salads are highly recommended, though not the standard sports bar fare. Access from the main road can be tough depending on traffic; leaving is harder than arriving. Well worth it though.

Nice large sports bar. Went in for a drink, wings, and you have to try a Suzie Wong Egg rolls. All good, relatively inexpensive.

I have been going to champs for the past 3 years and for the most part enjoyed it. Their outdoor seating is great and usually the food is consistently good, but tonight I received my chicken wings with a fried chicken feather. Yes, the bartender did remove it from my check but she never said sorry or offered anything else... More

The atmosphere was outstanding and the food was excellent. We were first taken to a seat near the patio and my wife got a little cold so I asked to move and the lady was very cooperative and understanding to our need and moved without any problem. And it was a crowded night I might add.

This restaurant does not have a concept of how customer service operates. I am personally referring to the employee named Tom who claimed to be the " Manager" to sort out a problem. A manager is one who tries to resolve a problem and try to find a common understanding among the customer. I am really disappointed and I must... More

Champs is just another one of your average bar food places but it's good because it's so big and you can always get in. They have good beer and good food. The perogies are awesome. Taste homeade. As soon as we came in after the Garth Brooks concert, all I wanted was a water and my husband husband a beer.... More

Large restaurant with industrial decor, somewhat worn by presumably heavy usage. Food is good, with interesting touches to standard items. Huge sandwiches in unusual and creative combinations. In evenings, parking may be a problem.

I recently visited Penn State with my high school son and we were looking for a sports bar to watch some baseball while we ate. I found Champ on the "Around Me" application and saw it was close to our hotel. It got decent reviews on another site so we decided to give it a try. I am very glad... More

Huge selection of appetizers, sandwiches, huge burgers and more. It was no trouble for us to find something for everyone, even on the smaller menu used on busy weekends (still a bigger selection than most other joints.) Muscles, 'Brock crock', a favorite paired with a much deserved Friday glass of white wine. Can be a bit loud during sporting events... More
