With prices a tad on the high side, you get big chunks of meat if that's what you want. My veal was thick, tasteless, and heavily breaded. A frozen portion that was quickly microwaved and then put on the plate. The cabbage side was locally prepared and tasty. One person ordered a chicken salad... read more

This restaurant has a great bar area with the best bartenders and good selection of beers on draft ( and bottles). Good place to watch a game, or listen to occasional live bands, and meet with friends. The restaurant area is very nice with a fireplace and casual comfortable seating. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is good... More

I'm not a huge fan of a "commercial building" style of restaurant but it is fairly nice inside and quite casual. TV's for watching a game but it just doesn't give me that "sports bar" feel. Entire restaurant is open so the dining room is "right there" but the bar noise, somehow, doesn't trickle over much...so it's relatively quite. My... More

Only stopped in to watch the game & have a beer with a friend. The bartenders were very friendly & the prices were reasonable. Did not eat anything but enjoyed the atmosphere. If in the area again, I will definitely go back & try the food.

Easy come easy go. Tradional foods done with a twist. Had wings. Flavorful with just enough spice Folks friendly and helpful. Worth the visit without the downtown hubbub of students and traffic

The Pub atmosphere was nice and inviting, and the restaurant had that "newly built to look Old" look. Service was good and the menu offered up several German-style dishes so we were excited and looking forward to the meal. The Jager Schnitzel was dry and somewhat tasteless, and not even close to the real thing. The Cajun Steak salad was... More

Olde New York has great pub style and German food. The soft pretzel and potato pancakes were delicious. So was the potato salad served as a side. Our party of six enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was good and food was hot and plentiful. The guys enjoyed the beer too.

It had been awhile since we had gone to Olde New York, but on a cold winter day the fireplace made the setting very cozy. The sandwiches are good choice along with the cured meats that are made in house. I was surprised to see some former Ale House staff working there, but the Ale House has had a lot... More

Food okay but salad came dry with what seemed like no salad dressing. Asked for more salad dressing. Was charged $1 for dressing on our bill. Thought that was ridiculous. Wont go again.

We have lived here for less than 5 yrs & came to the conclusion that there are barely mediocre restaurants in the area. No standouts, nothing worth the money spent and then we heard about Olde New York. Being from the city I am always skeptical of these kinds of so-called NY restaurants in the middle of nowhere but this... More
