True old style

From the mismatched decor to the glass bottles, this is an old school place. Ice cream is good. The milk is great! Gonna miss it when it's gone.

Since we're locals this is where we get our milk, in half gallon glass bottles. Absolutely delicious. Supermarket milk can NOT compare to milk from a dairy farm. What a difference! The ice cream is ok, I don't think there is much flavor there, but my husband loves it and the lines are always out the door during the warm... More

My family went here for ice cream, only to discover that they only took cash. When we came back with cash, we got dinner as well as ice cream. There food was fine, but not great. The ice cream was excellent.

I had a yummy vanilla float with coffee ice cream; others had huge sundaes ( their regular serving ) and cones. We had a Mexi Hot (chili dog) also. Fresh milk ( I think no BST?) is sold in environmentally friendly glass containers ( returnable). They also had local cheese, chocolate, sticky buns and honey.

I had to see what all the rave was about and it was spot on! I had a delicious scoop of fresh ice cream and it was fantastic! Go for a cone!

We visited Meyer Dairy based on the rave reviews of locals. The milk is indeed very fresh and delicious, as is the ice cream. The ice cream scoops, also were very generous. We also purchased orange juice which was just so-so. However, to our dismay, this establishment does not accept any credit cards, nor does it accept out-of-state checks. This... More

Cool place, just know you will be in a line but they're pretty quick. Fresh ice cream great prices, great flavors fresh milk in returnable glass bottles. Also has fast food we did not et & other convenience store groceries. HUGE downfall cash only. There's asugn that says we take EBT which is electronic bank transfer so we gave a debit... More

My Grandchildren and I visited Meyer Dairy several times this month. The prices for ice cream and food are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The ice cream is delicious. There is seating indoors and there are picnic tables outside. It is worth stopping in.

We visit State College yearly and our hotel is across the street from Meyers. And we'd always heard how wonderful the place was so we gave it a try. The food was a throwback to the 60's- lots of breading, lots of frying, not much flavor or freshness. The much-praised ice cream was just OK. The prices were cheap, you... More

After a long day of travels and sight seeing with the in-laws, they treated the kids to some ice cream. Apparently all the icecream is made from the cows they keep out back! So cute and the prices are cheap! We even saw people coming in with milk bottles to get a refill!
